We met at a friend's 30th birthday party in May 2009. Jen's best friend Katie and Mike's best friend Tom are brother and sister. Katie introduced Jen to Mike when Jen arrived at the party but told Mike to "stay away!" After a couple of years of hanging out at the Fallons family parties, Mike finally asked Jen to be his date to his friends Tiffany and Ken's wedding. First they went on a date to TGI Friday's in March 2009. Jen was still in school in Rhode Island but when she would come home, they would meet up and hang out. Eventually Mike asked Jen to officially be his girlfriend!
