Our love story is a unique one to say the least. There was really no "first date", "first kiss" that many people talk about. It was moments that we'll forever cherish and that are close to our heart that really make this relationship special.

People always ask how we met, and we both always look at each other expecting the other to answer. It all began February 1st, 2014. Maybe not our story from the beginning, but the day we “met”. Thanks to Molly McHenry’s 22nd birthday party in Denver, CO, it was the day we first were introduced to each other. We may not have interacted all night, or really remembered each others names, but the morning is more of what we remember most. Needless to say, it was a successful night. The following morning Ben had taken a hold of Jade's vodka for a screw driver. Jade kept asking Molly what his name was. He managed to ask for a $65 dollar of orange juice as well which in the end Molly had to pay for. That is an entire other story. Jade couldn’t help but shake her head thinking who is this guy.

Ben moved to Hawaii and Jade finished college at the University of Colorado in Greeley. About a year later we kept running into each other of course in all of the same places. If you know us both, these include 3 places--Cables, Bogey’s and Highland Hills Bowling Alley. Jade only had to ask what his name was about 3 more times before it clicked that he was that guy from Denver. We continued our friendship for awhile and then things took a turn.

We continued to figure out we had a bunch in common. Aside from enjoying a few cocktails, we enjoyed bowling (Ben teaching Jade), golf (also Ben teaching) going to the lake and just enjoying each other’s company. July 20th, 2016 was the day we finally decided we could give this relationship thing a try.

We've continued our lives since then with all of our friends and with Ben's girls BrookeLynn and Ainsley. We enjoy watching them do sports and grow to become two very smart girls in school. We've kept doing the lake every summer, Bogey's wings every Monday and bowling in the winter. We are with our friends about 90% of the time which makes our engagement so special. August 14th, 2019 is a day we'll never forget. Ben popped the question over a few glasses of wine by the fire pit at our house watching a storm roll over us. It was crazy because the clouds disappeared, the fire pit went out & the moon popped out as he was down on 1 knee. It was one of the best nights.

We can't wait for the next chapter of our lives to begin!
