They met in August 2007, after Jen and Jason's mom came back to the USA from being roommates on a mission trip to Honduras.   Then they began dating in October 2007.  After having a Father's Day dinner at Cafe Murano on 6/18/11, Jason proposed by the fountain at Crane's Roost in Altamonte Springs, FL.
