 | I came home from working the late shift at work and he greeted me at the door, which was not normal. I walk into the apartment and he had music playing and HE had cooked! Very not normal! There was candles on the table and he had poured us screwdrivers in wine glasses (I hated wine at the time lol) at the dining room table, which we never ate at. Again very unusual! We sat and ate our meal and had general conversation, me feeling special and maybe a little confused the whole time lol! So after we ate he changed the music to Shania Twain and asked me to DANCE! Dance?! We don't do that! But we did; I believe the song was "From This Moment On". So we slow danced to a song or two and then he got kind of weird and started telling me he loved me and seemed nervous. He told me if we could last together for 5 years and still be happy, why not forever? Then he pulled out a little white box from under a pillow on the couch, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes and I think I giggled a lot because I was so surprised. No, neither of us cried! But it was a special moment that I will remember forever! I love you babe! |
