Skye Mann

Here we have the Matron of honor, Skye! After meeting in the 3rd grade, not only did we become best friends but we became family. Skye and I share a lifetime full of memories... some sad, some bad, but most of all amazing! Pictured with her bio is a little throwback picture. The seven year olds vs. the new and improved 24 year olds. There are a ton of goofy stories that I could tell, which you probably wouldn't find funny because it's always  "you had to be there" moments. Thats the memories best friends are supposed to have, and we have exceeded that. One of the most memorable memories that me and Skye share, was traveling to Honduras with my family. We got to be roomies in a Bungalow for the week (Yes, we got to sleep in a hut on top of the ocean).  We spent our days snorkeling and discovering the most beautiful waters, went kayaking (maybe flipped it in shark infested waters), and spent our nights making up dances... because let's be real, when we were young....thats what we did. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to see us bust some moves the night of the reception. Back in the day, we were told we were so good we could've been in a Michael Jackson Video. No big deal.  I am so proud of Skye for recently graduating nursing school and is now a fellow RN. I am beyond blessed to have her by my side on my big day....

Amber Schaefer

Amber is the best friend who always stays calm, cool, and collected. When I am feeling overwhelmed or just need someone to talk me down, Amber is the girl to get the job done.  As I said earlier when I became best friends with Skye, I not only got her, but her whole family... Amber included. Amber is one of the most kind hearted people that I know and for that I am grateful to know I will have her around forever. When we start our own families I can already picture "family" roadtrips taking our kids to disneyworld, having BBQ's  on the weekends, and I'm not going to lie, we do have a dream of our future children falling in love so we can "officially" be family on techinical terms. A typical "girls night" for me and amber, includes maybe going to a winery- we are obsessed with winery food, the melting pot-who doesn't love chocolate and cheese dipped in EVERYTHING, or watching disney movies- the originals will never get old. If you dare... on my weddding night, challenge Amber in a round of Disney Trivia. If you win, free drinks on me. Oh wait.....

Kaitlyn Wymore

The next pretty lady behind me on my big day is Kaitlyn. As I've said with the past three bios of bridesmaids, I'm going to say it again. We are family.  When me and Kaitlyn first met, when we were seven and I have to admit I dont think we were fond of one another. Maybe we thought of one another as a threat in a friendship. Little did we know, we soon became inseperable and our friendship blossomed. Skye, Amber, Kaitlyn, and I were and are  the dream team. We were the Spice girls, the pink ladies, and so much more.  Even with growing up and having busy lives, me and kaitlyn always pick up where we left off. We support one another through the good times and bad, we have a friendship that could never be replaced.  Something new about our friendship that is so amazing, is her boyfriend Jared and the groom Josh have became the best of buds...We have a blast all being together, and I know that will continue for the rest of our lives.

Maida Softic

Next on the list is Maida.  Maida and I became friends in middle school, and we have such an amazing and unique friendship.  When I think of our friendship, most of it contains endless laughter.  Like on the floor, cant breathe laughing.  If I am having a bad day, I will spend the day with Maida and everything magically feels better. When our friendship got real, the quote from Step-Brothers kicked in. "Did we just become best friends? yep." "Do you want to go do karate in the garage? Yep". There is only one issue I have with Maida. Once upon a time in the 9th grade, we took art class together. Maida was having a hard time blending the background for one of her paintings, so of coarse as a best friend I saved the day and went to work on that canvas. It was stunning, with the colors perfecting blending as they should. Before Maida turned this painting in for a grade, she painting a black tree on it, using a stencil. She ended up winning an award for that painting. Really Mr.Clark, really? Ten years later, and im not still bitter about this, as you can tell.  Anways, I am so grateful to have Maida standing behind me on my big day!

Samantha Bizzle

Samantha is my big cousin, that I have always had a undeniable bond with. She let me hangout with her growing up, which made me feel really cool. I like to think my makeup game is pretty strong, and I have to thank her for that. Always being a tag along with her and her friends while they would get ready, I picked up on some skills.  Over the years we have grown closer.  She has three beautiful children who I consider myself an aunt to, and of course they love their uncle Joshy! I am very blessed to have Sam behind me on my big day, and am very grateful for family.

Kristen Sappington

Kristen and I, met around our second year of nursing school at Maryville University.  We became very close, figuring when we were in nursing school, thats what our lives consisted of.  We spent almost everyday together.  We have some really cool memories including traveling to spain to study abroad, traveling to mexico, and many other places which we always have a blast.  Spain has some of the funniest memories, but we are not going into detail with that... here's a clue, we got robbed. Once we got through that, we learned we could handle anything. We have had good times and bad, but at the end of the day, we have come to learn that when times get rough your friends are always by your side.  I am very excited to have Kristen behind me on my special day!

Tiffany Pikul

Next Lovely lady behind me is Tiffany.  Me and tiffany have so many memories, meeting in middle school and being great friends since.  Tiffany is currently living in Atlanta and will be getting married in October which I am so excited to be a part of her big day as well! Tiffany and I share many memories at the motocross track, highschool cheerleading, and goofy times that we have to share forever.  I am so excited to have her being a part of my big day!

Tyler Knight

The best man that I will have right behind me on my big day, is Tyler Knight. It is difficult to describe the relationship that Tyler and I have, which I think is what makes it so unique and therefore great. I met Tyler during Freshman orientation at Illinois State University in 2008 and have been stuck with him ever since. Tyler and I have gotten into our share of chaotic and unique situations, only to come out wiser and stronger on the other side. He defines what a best friend is, and goes above and beyond the description of a Best Man, and I am fortunate that I get to call him both.

Geoff Potts

Geoff and I were born merely hours apart. If only Geoff knew, on July 30th 1990, that when he was born, he would be getting a younger brother on the 31st. The only people I have known longer in my life, are my parents. Geoff and I have grown up together, and I am fortunate to have a big brother who never stops growing up. Geoff is graduate of St. Louis University, where he has both a bachelors and masters degree in engineering. Lucky for Geoff, he lives in San Diego. Not a bad place to be. Geoff has been there since I can remember walking, and he continues to be the big brother anytime that I need guidance or advice, even from hundreds of miles a way.

Jeremy Maubach

Another close friend I get to have beside me on my wedding day, is Jeremy Maubach. Jeremy and I became friends over a mutual love for Soccer. If you know anything about me, you know how deep my love for soccer is, and to have a friend who shares the same passion is a wonderful thing. The way to describe my relationship with Jeremy is by sharing the story I share with everybody. I was playing soccer in Bloomington IL's Latino Soccer League, yes I was the only non-latino member of the league besides Jeremy, but that's not important. Anyways, when I was playing, my fellow teammates continuously shared with me that they were missing another key player, Jeremy, in which they repeated over and over again that Jeremy and I would be a great duo when we played together. I was excited to see who this character was, and sure enough he showed up to the game the next week. My first time meeting Jeremy, was 5 minutes before kickoff, where he was walking up eating a triple cheeseburger from Wendy's and had a large coke to wash it down. I thought that was insane. How was I going to play well with a guy who just smashes cheeseburgers before soccer games? I don't buy it. The game started and to sum it up, the final result was a 4-1 win which Jeremy and I scored every goal, and assisted each other on the goals we did not score. It was a dangerous duo both on and off the pitch ever since then. We are now reffered to as Los Diablos Blancos in the Latino League.

Kendric Smith

Kendric is another friend that I met my freshman year at Illinois State University, where we were both Hurdlers for the Track team. He, along with Tyler, instantly became family and not just friends. The insane energy and lively personality Kendric brings to the family is nothing short of spectacular. There has never been a dull moment in the past 8 years of our friendship. For that I am extremely thankful. I was fortunate enough to be a groomsman at Kendric's wedding in 2014 a be a part of the celebration of his new life with his wife. I am so excited to have him by my side when I do the same. Some of my best memories involve times Kendric, Tyler, Steven and I lived together including filming youtube movies over winter break, and going to IHOP EVERY Saturday night no earlier than 11pm.

Ben Kisner

I could write a very, very long post about Ben. I could write about how we have been best friends since 8th grade when we met in soccer. I could write about how great of a friend he has been all these years and how he has been there for me through my highest and lowest points. But to do Ben justice, I will keep it simple, because Ben is a very simple guy. I think the biggest compliment I could give Ben, to let him know how much he means to me, is to tell you that Ben has the best taste in Beer, Music, and is the funniest person I have ever met. Also, the man sure does know how to work a grill.

Steven Ybarra (call him Barra)

The picture alone explains Barra. It isn't truly a Cinco De Mayo unless Barra is pounding on your door at 6am in his Taco costume (one of costumes he has). Barra is one of my closest and best friends and I don't know of many people who I have a better time with, than when I'm with Barra. Barra is the guy that everybody knows, and I have absolutely no doubt that every single person will talk to him at the wedding, because he talks to everybody, knows everybody, and everybody loves him. Barra and I were great friends in high school, and that friendship only became stronger when we were at Illinois State together. I can't imagine that last 10 years of my life without Barra in it. Though he lives in Chicago, to my St. Louis, he makes sure to text me at least once a day...mostly with some random youtube video.

Adam (Ace) Thomas

Adam will beat you at pool, darts, ping pong, bowling, pretty much anything. Adam will beat you. He's that guy. Adam and I have known each other since Kindergarten. When I think of the simple life, I picture how Adam and I would ride our bikes around Colona, think we were the baddest kids in town. If you haven't heard of Colona, it's a small town in Illinois that has about four thousand people in it. But we do have a Dairy Queen. Adam is the definition of humble and just being around him causes other's to be the same. He has been a big part of my life, and I know we will be reminiscing about past times even 40 years from now. Adam is not just a friend. he is a brother. I'm stuck with him for life.

Jared Richardson

Jared and I met through our fiancee's over a year ago. It is not often that you click with somebody instantly, as Jared and I did. Jared has been a very special piece to this journey, because he is a great friend who I am able to have close by. When I first moved to St. Louis, it was difficult leaving friends behind that I had known for years, however Jared made the transition as easy as possible by being the friend I needed, as well as the friend who I feel like I have known my entire life.
