So the story takes the less traveled road. It definitely isn't your she saw him he saw her they fell in love and lived happy ever after. We made it better, we made us better. When I met Joe, I was in one of the lowest areas of my life. I was dancing, drinking, on drugs, and dealing with an eating disorder. (Sorry Mom & Dad - but it has a happy ending!) Needless to say, I needed some help, or some sort of direction, but I wouldn't listen to anyone. Joe was the DJ every Saturday and Tuesday night at the bar I was working at. The end of the night, both having a little to much to drink, I was leaned over on the bar talking to somebody, and he came up to me....... Grabbed my stomach and said 'you need to lose that'! I WAS INFURIATED. I went home and cried, and stopped eating.  Anyone who knows Joe knows that his brutal honesty and no filter is a blessing (that comes with sting) but he meant no harm. Suprisingly, that conversatian jump started our playful bickering. Pretty soon we were on the phone every night after work, talking until 5am. That was only the very very very beginning. Since then Joe and I have battled everything together. From the moment we got together, he was nothing but brutally honest, and helped me face my deepest darkest demons. Only a few months in, I was rid of every bad habit I had. Together we have helped each other every day get better and stronger. More positive. Ironically, Joe grabbing my stomach and saying what he had said to me was Joes demon as well. Joe used to be 300 pounds. When I met him he was 250. Now he is 175 and one handsome man if I do say so myself. But I will let him tell you that thesis section. Joe and I have had one hell of a journey together. But I am so in love with him. Everyday I am on this earth I am grateful and appreciative that he his in my life and that I can love him the best I can. I am truly marrying my best friend, my love, and my joy. He makes me better, and I couldn't imagine my life without him.
