John my love,

Just as our paths to one another has been a long and awaited accomplishment, so has the process that will allow us to say our vows.  What started with a simple “Hi” has been the most amazing and wonderful sequence of events in my life.  Seeing you after all these years and feeling like not a single moment had passed, is confirmation that we are and have been the half the other has always been in search of.  You have brought a wonderful and amazing positive direction that I have needed in my life.  Being loved by someone that can make me feel loved beyond measure, with just a simple glance is one of the million reasons I love you more than I can express.  I will not ever be able to share with you how your love, faith and unwavering positive influence has sated my very soul.  I am so excited to see what life we can build and create together.  From our fairytale wedding, to a life fulfilling dream honeymoon in Paris!  If this is the bar to which we measure the rest of our lives, then I know we will forever make each other’s dreams come true for an eternity.

We have both had a long journey to get to this point in our lives. Just like any epic journey, there have been ups and downs. Times when we thought we had a handle on what life threw our way and times when we were defeated and the view of the destination was obscured. As long and arduous as it has been, I would gladly do it all again if it was the only path I had to get to you. I have a hard time putting into words what you mean to me. You are the dawn that arrives just after the night has reached its darkest hour. Because of you, I have a whole new understanding of so many things. I thought love was a myth and the words, “I love you”, just something people said to each other to justify being and staying together. Because of you, I now understand what true love is and what it means when I say, “I love you.” I have never been more certain of anything in my life. I cannot wait to stand on the Cliffs and proclaim to the you, and the world, “I DO!” I am excited to begin this part of the journey together, hand in hand. I am yours, mind, body and soul always and forever. I know that, together, there is no challenge to great or obstacle to difficult for us to overcome. You are the purpose of my journey. I can’t wait to build our new lives together. Our life, our way. Thank you for our love and showing me that it really is what I thought it should be.
