Aloha!

Sitting here hammering away at the keys after a busy day of preparations and coordinating for our trip ---I'm exhausted!  It's been a hectic, but beautiful day here in Phoenix.  Along with some special time visiting with close friends.

Special thanks to everyone who was able to come last night to our reception at Hula's Modern Tikki, and a special THANK YOU to Diana for coordinating this for us.  A great time was had by all, and many memories were made.  The rum will not be soon forgotten. LOL

So, tomorrow morning, we head off on our excursion, our long 3,000 mile trek across the Pacific.  May the journey be easy to us.  Our flight takes off at 8am PHX time, and we will be arriving in Kahului, Maui, HI around 5:15pm PHX time. Then, just a scenic drive southward on the western Maui coast to our home away from home ---Kihei.  I can already smell the Hawaiian trade winds' fragrant aroma, as we sit on our oceanfront lanai and take in the sunset.
