Our wedding is going to be in Chickamauga on October 21, 2017. I always thought we would pick a significant date for our wedding day but this one was pretty much at random. We knew we wanted a fall wedding, we love October, we didn't want to use a date that had already been used by our friends who were married in October, didn't want it too close to Halloween, and of course it couldn't be opening weekend of coon-hunting season. So, that's how we landed October 21st. We always wanted it to be a simple, casual, outdoor wedding... basically we want everyone to be able to feel comfortable wearing their blue jeans and boots or whatever else they felt comfortable in. Certain things about the wedding will traditional and some non-traditional so, be prepared for anything. We will be serving a simple dinner, and we will also provide a few choices of alcohol. We have booked a live band to cover the ceremony and reception. We have really just always wanted our wedding to be a fun fall evening, surrounded by the people we love most, celebrating our marriage.
