Before anything else, Nen would like to thank Saki Comandao and Mimcy Mejia for this freakishly accurate write up.

"It was a warm summer evening in Ancient Greece..." is how this should start, but really, it started on August 4, 1986 when Marinel "Nen" Riya Quintos was born in Quezon City, Philippines.

Nen has always had a sparkling personality, which reverberated with the people around her. She grew to what her friend(s) would describe as a handsome child, mostly because the "pretty one" among the siblings was her younger brother.

One could say, she has an irrepresible way of reacting to life. For example, when Kip asked her to marry him, she kicked him from sheer shock (and joy.) When she got off the plane her first word to greet the sub-zero winds of the US was "WHY?" She also likes bullying her friends. For example, I was bullied into writing this for her. (Love you, Nen.)

She suffers from "bitchy resting face" (this is a thing, Google it), but once you realize that's just her neutral expression and you get to know her better, you'll know she's smart, funny, and a bit of a geek. Ask her to sing the Pokemon theme.

She is kind, generous, and if you get on the wrong side of her, fierce. She has a stare that can boil water. You'll know this when you take my advice and ask her to sing the Pokemon theme.

She hates garlic and onions. Which is weird because she grew up in a country that uses them in almost every dish.

She will gladly share a round of beer or a bottle of wine with you. She will, however, look at you funny if you suggest Tequilla. When she does this, ask her to make a funny fish face. If you're lucky, she'll do it for you. Do this preferrably after several rounds have come and gone.

Thanks to Travis Etchart for this awesome write up on the groom!

Kip…..Kipling…Kippy….William….That Guy….Whatever you want to call him, was born May 1st, 1985; twas a great day….I believe it rained.

His childhood was a rough upbringing. His stern and demanding parents made him do chores in between his hours and hours of playing video games and whatever outside activities he was always doing. I remember we played an uber-long tournament of champions on Mortal Kombat 2 for over 30 hours. Before good graphics and highly tuned electronics, we’d play for as long as our good ol’ Nintendo would allow us to on Fifa World Soccer 98’….or until we’d get so excited that the jumping up and down would reset it and we just sat there crushed in disbelief.

If Kip wasn’t playing video games, you would normally find him outside running…..and by outside, I mean along a desolate country road that his father drove him to and told him “I’ll see you back in town”…..(reference the Rough Childhood Upbringing above). Looking at him now, post Army ‘Pump-You-Up’ time, this kid was 75 lbs Soaking Wet. He sure could run though; miles and miles. After high school, Kippy went off to the Army for a few years. He then came back to Idaho for, I believe, 2 weeks. He got a job offer in New York City (say that with the Pace Picante sauce commercial accent…..I’ll wait….).

He traveled the world seeing all types of destinations and meeting all different types of people. Along the way, he met Nen….or Riya….or Pokemon Theme Singing Champion of the World….or whatever you want to call her. They got engaged and he drug her out of her homeland and into his….which is MUCH colder. Kip is still the same ol’ Kipling I grew up with; forgetting to close a door or turn off a light, has a million things going on in his head, and can’t wait for you to shut up so he can recite a line from a movie to relate to what you were just saying.
