October, 2016 - Shane & I went on vacation to Colorado, we stayed in a vacation house in Manitou Springs which is very close to Pike's Peak & Colorado Springs. The weather was perfect and we were interested in hiking so we took a day to go to Garden of the Gods. On October 3 we walked around the park all day and Shane always mentioned he wanted to find some gold while walking around. Towards the end of our day we got to the top of a ledge that overlooked the natural-made formations in this picture. He asked me to walk up to the top of the ledge (right hand side of the picture) and as I was taking a few pictures he asked me to turn around, to which I was surprised that he found his gold (14K white gold with a little diamond in the middle =])! He asked me to be his wife, and of course I said yes.
