We met while I was hosting karaoke at Larry's in Nashville, TN.  Joel used to frequent my shows and would wait until the very last minute of the show to get up enough courage to sing, therefore making me stay late most nights.  Totally worth it since we became great friends because of it!  

We were close friends for a few years before we actually started dating, and honestly it's hard to remember how it all started.  It was almost one of those moments where we looked at each other differently one day and just knew that we were meant to be together.  That was over 4 years ago, and here we are now!
