| | | I choose my senior picture from 1986 because that's when Our Love Story began..., the Summer of '86. I went off to KState and I wanted to study Vet Medicine, but I soon realized I was really meant to be a Nurse! I graduated from the University of Kansas School of Nursing in 1990 and began my career in Buffalo, NY. I became a Mom in 1993, as God blessed me with my oldest son, Ethan Boyd. I was blessed AGAIN with the birth of my second son, Quinten Gage. And God knew I needed a daughter and he gave me a perfect one, Lauren Rachel. I was a stay at home Mom for their early years, working as a nurse at night and on the weekends. My children were my whole world and I loved nothing more than being their Mom! I spent my days running my kids to practices, games and living the good life! As life has a way of bringing people into your life when You Need Them..., John came back into my life in 2009. He gave me my Smile back and all the Love my Heart could hold. He's the Love of my Life and I am blessed by Him, his four children and three grandchildren. We've been married in our Hearts for 7 years now, and are now celebrating that Union with our wedding celebration. I am blessed!! |
 | | I grew up in Arkansas City, Kansas and got to know my Bride in the Summer of 1986 when she was dating my best friend ;). Even though we only had a short time together before I left for Boot Camp, I knew I wanted her to be Mine..., but I shipped off to boot before I could make her see it, She Had to Be Like that! I wrote her letters, gave her a dozen roses, spent my entire paycheck on phone calls from Japan, a red silk kimono, a gold necklace and my dog tags. As I made way back to the States from Japan in 1989, I missed seeing the Love of my Life one final time before I took off for Arizona. I became a Dad in 1991, to the first of my beautiful daughters, Jessica Anne. I was blessed by my second daughter, Nicolette Mary, in 1993, God definitely knew how to pull at this Dads heart string! My daughters gave me a reason to push myself and make my way in the HVAC industry in AZ! I got lucky and was able to continue the family tradition of naming a son John with the birth of John Brandon. My youngest, and most endearing child is my daughter, Jacqueline Halle...so wow together Lisa and I have 7 children...all unique and very loved by both of us! I knew in 1986 that I wanted to marry Lisa and make all her dreams come true...but the timing wasn't right and SHE DIDN'T GET IN THE CAR!! Ask me about that story, it's a good one and one I love to tell as a way to remind Lisa what she missed out on!! I asked Lisa to marry me after we were together for a year. She said Yes on Christmas Eve 2010 after Jessica had to explain to her how to turn the globe upside down to find the ring and piece of Christmas wrapping paper that said 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?'. I've been married to Lisa in my heart for over 7 years now and now it's time to make an honest woman out of her!! LOL |
