On occasion, for work I had to travel to different satellite offices for various kinds of meetings. I remember going to one of the satelite offices and went to visit a friend's office on the second floor. As I walked over, I caught a glimpse of someone across the way. I notced that he was handsome, but I did not recognize him, so I assumed he must have been new. Once I made it to my friends office, I immediately asked her who the handsome guy was that I saw and where did he work? She told me that he actually worked for our same division and that he reported to her. She told me he was really good at his job and that he was really nice. From that point forward, I seemed to run into him in more and more meetings. We would exchange some small conversation on occasion and would notice each other from across the room. As time went on it seemed like I felt more and more comfortable talking to him. We began to also communicate via email. When I went away to a conference it seemed we began to email more frequently and have longer conversations. I kept hoping he would ask me for my phone number, but at the same time I felt as though he may not because I held a high position at work. At that point I decided I needed and wanted to give him my phone number. Sooooo......when a large reallocation of staff occured in our division I decided to use ths as an excuse to reach out to him to see how he was doing. I emailed him my phone number and told him that if he wanted to chat about the "work changes" or anything that he should feel free to contact me off work hours and we could talk as friends. A few hours later, I was pleasantly surprised as he did call me right when he got off work, Unfortunately, I did not answer because I got off of work later. He left a really funny voicemail that made me smile . His voicemail for the most part was along the lines of "Hello this is Chris Munoz, please call me back when you get a chance". This made me laugh as I thought it was funny that he was so professional. I was a bit nervous as I still was not quite sure if he was interested. I called him back and we spoke for hours over the phone and found we had alot in common. To make a long story short, we spoke for a couple weeks for hours at a time on the phone and then he FINALLY asked me out on a date!!! The rest is as you can say is history! We have only looked forward and never looked back since :)

I was working one day and saw this beatuful girl across a balcony.  There was just something about her that made me go over and introduce myself.    I didn't know who she was yet, but knew that it was someone that I needed to get to know.  A few weeks later I was in a meeting for a special project at work and saw her come in.  I remeber being impressed with how she could command a room especially given that she was so much younger than the other managers.  I didn't know if she was single or not, but knew that I had to get to know her.  We started talking a little bit before or after every meeting.  It wasn't until one day after my office was delivered some tough news that we really started talking.  I took this oppurtunity to start emailing her.  We would email back and forth throughout the work days until one day she sent me an email stating that we should talk about the subject more outside of work and gave me her cell phone number.  This was on a friday so I knew that I had to call her that day or else it would be a very long weekend.  I got over my nerves and called her when I got home.  At first she didn't answer so I left a message.  I didn't know if she was as interested in me as I was of her so I remember leaving a very proffesional voicemail.  She called me back and we ended up talking on the phone for like 2 hours.  We talked about work and also about our personal lives.  We began texting each other and emailing more frequently.  The moment I knew she was the one happended at work when I found out I was going to be transferred to another office.  I didn't know where I was going and I was upset to be leaving the people I was working with.  I had to go to the main building for a meeting to find out where I was going to be moving.  I had trouble locating the room it was in so I arrived a little late.  I walked in and looked straight at her, she looked genuinely concerned and mouthed the words "I'm sorry".  I knew that she cared immensley about me and waited for her after so that we could talk.  We went back to her office and talked about the situation and more about our family for almost an hour.  We both had to get back to work. There was so much more about her I wanted to know I called her after work and we began talking almost everyday.  After a few weeks of talking on the phone I finally got the courage to ask her out, and the rest is history.
