I was extremely skeptical about online dating because I just didn't believe my future husband would find me on a website and let's face it, nobody wants to be stalked, catfished, or meet a serial killer.  Boy was I wrong!!  It took some coercing by several people before I finally setup my profile on POF.  It wasn't long before this 6'3", bald, superhero, comic book loving, nerd would shoot me a "hello"!  After a while of website email conversations, I eventually felt comfortable enough to provide him my personal contact information then we communicated via phone and text for a few weeks.  It was during one of my Lowe's excursions (yes, I love Lowe's), that Sean decided he needed to meet me in person.  On Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 7pm, we met for smoothies at a quaint little coffee shop called Common Grounds.  His genuine nerdy side was revealed when he showed me a youtube video of quantum physics.  I still have no idea what it was about but, it lit a spark in me that is now a wild fire for Sean Corey Lightsey.   We talked and laughed until closing which was midnight!  The rest has been all Love and Light!

Make no mistake, I was pretty much done with dating and about a Planck length away from shutting down my POF profile. Fortunately I didn't. If I had, I wouldn't have met the most intellectually stimulating woman in my world. From our first meeting, critically thoughtful conversations have been at the root of our relationship. She is the straight shooter to my silliness and reason why I smile. I thought I was pretty much done with dating and looking for the right one... Turns out, I am.
