The Bride and Groom play a game together called "Runescape." In this game you have a chance of recieving what is called a clue scroll from monsters or bosses after defeating them. The clue scroll takes you on a journey throughout the game solving different riddles to obtain your reward casket. The reward can range from something extremely rare to extremely useless. One day the Bride had recieved one of these clue scrolls as a drop, she didn't pick it up as she assumed she wouldn't get anything worth while. With much convincing from the Groom, she went back to pick it up. After opening her casket, she got one of the rarest rewards in game and is still the most valuable clue the Bride and Groom have ever gotten in game. This started their inside joke to "always do your clues".

The groom thought for a while how he would propose, he knew he wanted to do it in a nerdy way. He really loved the time he got to spend with the bride  gaming. He also wanted to involve the bride to be's family. There were so many options he could think of, and the first one was Pokemon Go. This was also mentioned by the Bride's step mom when brain storming together. However, the clue scroll route was too good to pass up, he had just hoped she really did pick this one up! The groom plotted with her family a month in advance to make sure everyone had the day off. The groom then got the help from the bride's step sister Chantel.They made a plan that Chantel would invite the Bride to get a massage won from a "radio show". After the massage, they were given their first clue scroll. This led them to moes, where they had to dance for the cashier to recieve their next clue. The following clue led them to Jess's Mother's house where both sets of family were waiting. She had to give each of them a hug before she could recieve yet another clue. This clue made her dress up, and head to the apartment the bride and groom live at. Behind them was a small island, where a friend of the groom was waiting to hand the bride her final clue.  This led them to sim's park where the bride and groom played Pokemon Go at. The groom waited for the bride to be to show up, and was rehearsing his speach in his head several times. When she finally arrived, she was crying from tears of joy. Choked up, he couldn't remember anything that he was about to say. Got on one knee, and asked "Will you marry me?". The Bride immediately said yes and both then enjoyed an after party with family.
