| | | | This wife and mother of three is one of my best friends. I love her unyielding spirit to explore all that life has to offer. She is always calm, cool and collected. We met our freshman year of high school and the rest is history. We both have flare for fashion and the arts but her first love is music. She is a singer and a teacher in the craft of vocals. 100% living in her truth.

 | | | This wife and mother of two is one of my best friends and an artist. Three words to describe her: loving, compassionate and an artistic prodigy. I love her edge and need to do something unexpected! This is my sister from another mother... lol. We have a rich history. We fight hard; we love harder! As kids I remember them separating us all the time because we would chit chat, pass notes, laugh uncontrollably, or argue. We are both honest to a fault, which can drive us both a little nuts at times. Being upfront and honest is one of the things we love and respect about each other the most. One of our favorite films is The Color Purple. I know the subject matter is a little dark and sad but the sisterly love that overcomes adversity is what pulls us in. That bond is what we have, "AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN, AIN'T NO SEA CAN KEEP MY SISTER AWAY FROM ME!” My grandfather loved her as one of his own and he would be pleased that we are still there for each other.

 | | | Robin is in a wonderful relationship and is the mother of Madison, AKA Matty. I am the only person allowed to call her that. My first memory of Robin is in grade school; she was speaking her mind to someone twice her size and I thought to myself, "This kid has spunk lol." Til this day that is just Robin - straight to the point. She is funny (best laughs ever), smart, and knows me like that back of her hand. I can't count how many times I was dealing with a situation and she would say, "You want me to call them? I'll tell them." She is always in my corner. Never one to judge or hold a grudge she takes the time to listen and loves you right where you are. During our high school graduation I couldn't look at her without tearing up, I said to her, "It feels like yesterday we were in the park and I was pushing you on the swings. Where did the time go?"

 | | | Pure kindness is how I describe Don. The true merits of a friendship are countless. You always have someone to support you, inspire you to be your best, challenge you to grow and guide you through difficult times. This has always been true for the friendship I share with Don. Even in high school he was constant. Oh, the days of talking for hours on my grandparents front porch. Lasting intellectual conversations about life. Always eye opening, relevant and rewarding. Til this day the vibe is the same. One would think we would run out things to talk about but with us that is impossible. We find interest in everyone, everything and our exchange.
Of all the walks we,ve had together this will be my favorite. You at my side walking towards my future.
Thank God For Friends, Otherwise this World would Crumble Into Nothingness, The world would Become Rubble and the Rubble would become Dust and the Dust would become atoms and the the Atoms become Nothing, Need I say more?
