So it's official, there less than 100 days till the wedding.89 to be exact! These next 3 months are going to fly by! Saturday was my bachelorette and it was so nice to see all of my favorite people together!

I cannot believe we are almost down to double digits! The time is rolling by so quickly and I am getting more excited each day! Talking to my friend yesterday about her recent wedding, she said that the "wedding is fun, but the honeymoon was the best part." I heard it is so relaxing, which  I asuume is needed after the stress of planning a wedding. Thank you all again for helping us have an amazing honeymoon!

Yesterday, I went shopping for my shoes and I totally found a steal. We tried a few stores on New Dorp Lane but everything they had was gross and way to expensive for shoes you are going to wear once in your life. My mom said, " Let's try DSW." I was excited because I thought I would be able to get a new pair of boots. Epic Fail. However, I searched for a while AND found a pair on the sale rack. They are not my first choice, but honestly I will be wearing them for one day. Not only that, they wil probably come off immedialtley once the music starts. What makes them even better was that they were $50 bucks but when we got to the register , the cashier said they were $20! I don't really care that I don't love them. They are under the dress, who sees them anyway!

Melissa 1 vs Wedding 0!

So I am sitting alone, with Penny( our Sheltie) , and I am thinking about how amazing our Friends are. Brendan is in Chicago with his closest friends to see Notre Dame play football. It's amazing to know you have friends who know you so well as to plan a trip that fits our personalities! Thank you to all our friends who have been here for us through this past year of our engagement. And, I am glad you will be there for us on our special day!

So, there are 113 days left till the big day! I am starting to freak out about the amount of things I still need to do  for the wedding plus plan lessons for my class. ( I am a first year teacher for those of you who don't know) Brendan has been great at claming me down, because I do have a tendency to overreact when things get stressful.

However, last week at my friend Jenna's wedding, Brendan and I looked at each other and said, " I cannot wait till January!" When stuff like that happens, all the stress gets thrown out the window!
