Scotty and I met through one of his best friends Joey. So I'll start by telling you that I was supposed to hang out with one of his close friends Megan the same night I was introduced to him. When I finally got ready to walk to Megan's house I felt a strong feeling that I should probably just stay home for the night. When I had walked there, she didn't answer the door, so I decided to walk back home. I thought that I was set up, and since it was very late at night, I told myself I wasn't heading back out again if she were to ask. Sure enough, she did call me shortly after I had arrived back home. I had reassured her that we'd hang out another night. She begged and pleaded for me to come, and although every ounce of my being didn't want too, I finally did. I am so glad too, because then I wouldn't have met scotty if I had stayed home. Well we had a really fun night together! We ended up losing power that same night, however, that didn't really matter to any of us, for it was a great opportunity for us to get to know each other. Megan had introduced me to Joey, and then we all waited for Scotty to arrive. When he did, we all had stayed up and chatted for a long while, told funny jokes, and even slowed dance to some music. As I got to know him, I learned that he was actually very shy and was afraid to open up, as was I, so it took a lot for us to start talking to each other and really getting to know one another. After years of dating, I had finally learned he can be quite a quiet person, until you mention the word honda, and he is suddenly your best friend. I never grew so close to someone in a matter of minutes, and there was something about him that made me feel safe that night. I was so right. And we are so lucky to have each other.
As we date we continue to give each other courage and strength that we need to get us by the day.
We are perfect for each other. We are there for each other in times of hardship. We are able to teach each other valuable lessons in life and wouldn't be the same people without each other. We both enjoy camping, and enjoy the outdoors! We've been on a hot air balloon ride, and we've been camping in tents in the most weirdest of places! Which is why we decided to explore more of our adventure time near the Pacific Coast! |
Scotty and I are very laid-back, and easy going. We have decided to get married at Zorvino's Vineyard in Sandown, N.H to demonstrate that side of us.
We will be having a wedding with some of our closest family members and friends. There will be great food, great wine from the vineyard, and a great friend who will be playing music as I walk down the aisle to meet my soon to be new-husband.
There's nothing more that we could ask for, other than having people that mean most right by our sides while we exchange our vows.
