Meredith was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. When she was younger she would tell people her dream job was to be a McDonalds Lady so she could wear a head-set and work the drive-thru. Lets just say her parents were a little worried. Luckily, she eventually learned what it meant to "dream big"Вќ and started thinking "outside the bun". Whew!

Meredith discovered her love for art at an early age, and at one point considered a career in Art Therapy. She still dreams of having her own art studio in their future home.

Meredith attended Appalachian State University, where she received her BSBA with a double-major in Finance & Banking and Marketing. Meredith is currently employed at Montgomery Insurance as a Commercial Lines Underwriter in Charlotte, NC.

Outside of work Meredith enjoys painting, traveling, treasure hunts, cooking in her new crock pot, spending time with family & friends, and watching football on Sundays (which Matt recently got her into). She is now a die-hard Buffalo Bills and Oregon Ducks fan! Go Buffalos!!!

Matt was born in Tampa, FL and lived in neighboring Clearwater, FL as an infant. Matt spent most of his childhood as a nomad, living in nearly every state up and down the eastern sea board. During this time three things remained constant in his life: 1) His family 2) His love of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and 3) Playing sports. In early 1998 the family moved to Statesville, NC which is where they currently reside.

In high school, Matt was an "All-Around"Вќ athlete, which kept his parents busy traveling all over the Carolinas. He lettered in Football, Basketball, Track and Baseball. Somehow he still found time to serve as Statesville High Schools  Student Body President his senior year.

Matt went on to attend Appalachian State University where he received his BSBA in Business Management with a concentration in International Business. Matt is currently employed by The Vanguard Group as a Quality Administrator in Charlotte, NC, where he has worked since August 2008. Matt began his career in finance a mere month before the 2nd greatest financial meltdown in history... Coincidence?

Matt now enjoys watching football, basketball, traveling, building robots, extracting juices from various fruits, planking, Tebowing and entering in full-contact chess tournaments.
