My mother is a women like no other. She gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me but most importantly loved me unconditionally.

There are not enought words I can say to describe just how important my mother was to me, and what a powerful influence she continues to be.

Mom, thank you for your constant and unwavering love and support, even through all my crazy ideas and antics. Remember that Christmas when I was 5 and wanted bangs? I cut my hair myself and it ended up part sticking up and also crooked. Instead of getting mad, you smiled and grab the camera. (I wonder where that picture is?) Not sure if I’ve ever told you, but thanks for not spanking me me for that! If I go through the list of shenanigans I pulled it would be too long. So I’ll leave it there and say... Thank you for teaching me patience, to always look at the bright side of things and how important it is to enjoy the little things. Love you Mommy.

Shop 112 has brought me so my blessings, but your friendship is by far the greatest. You are so mich more than a business partner and friend. You are my chosen family. Most of the time you are a sister to me, other times my mother and sometimes I’m the mom LOL! Love you Mayra! 

Thank you for loving me in the good times and finding the energy to make the most of it in the not so good times- like the time  I accidentally booked the redeye from Los Angeles instead of the noon flight. Yikes!  I hope you don’t kill me for posting this photo! 

20 years and still going. They say a best friend is like a four leaf clover. Hard to find but lucky to have. We have been through alot and yet I still keep finding ways to annoy you. Thank you my friend for always being there and after all this time putting up with my shenanigans.

You are one of my favorite people walking this earth. Also, you were my first friend that I made when I moved from Belize. You introduced me to so many new things and ways of thinking! Here are just a few of my favorite things that I had for the first time with you: Sushi, Chai Tea, Pho, Matcha Tea, Bean Cheese and Chorizo Tacos, Turbos. And let’s not forget, you introduced me to Leo! Thank you for enriching my life in too many ways to count.

Chrissy, they say people are like trees. Some are like leaves, as they come and go with the seasons. Some are like branches, as they are there for a while but then branch off. Then there are the roots; strong, deep, and long lasting.

You are more than these. You, my friend, are the gardner that visits the roots every once and awhile to keep them strong.

Legia, when I say that we’ve been friends for well over 30 years- it doesn’t make sense! We don’t look old enough to be friends for that long! So I’ll just say from now on that we are childhood friends. Was it your 8th Birthday Party that I was dressed in all red from head to toe? It’s incredible to have a friend for so long that we are now watching our children pass the milestone we went through together. Here’s to many more! Love you Legia! 

They say that angels walk among us. This is true. Cindy has been my angel so many times. From stopping me from making terrible relationship decisions, rescuing me during boring dates, housing  for a month when I was between homes and supporting my vision of Shop 112 when we first opened. Within the first two weeks of us opening the store, Cindy decided to throw her birthday party there so all her friends could come and support us...on her birthday! 

We had a pretty good run. Who knew that so much would change over the last 5 years but we will always have those memories. Life seems to keep getting in the way but I promise the Fab 4 will ride again.

I don’t have a picture with all of us in it! We have to do something about that soon :) I love you all so much.   I love my job and that has 100% to do with you ladies. When I go to work there is endless laughter. Somewhere between that laughter though is the hard work, creativity and diligence that makes Shop 112 successful.  Thank you for inspiring me every day.  

My Flossy Posse Girl. My dear friend and neighbor. I am so honored to be able to see your children grow up.  I value our mommies movie Mondays and family brunches on Sundays so much. Leo and I love the Eason Fam and you and Marshal are amazing friends. 

You ladies are my more like my sisters. We’ve know each other since we were kids.  We don’t see each other as often as we would like because we all live in either different continents or states.  But when we see each other or speak on the phone it is like no time has ever passed. I love you more than words could ever express. 

In the past few years we have grown closer and closer. I always look forward to seeing you guys and chatting whether it be on a regular day of picking Mia up or dropping her off or a weekend soccer game. Claudia, I love our conversations. I feel like we could go on for hours. I remember one night we did! I want to thank you guys again for including us in your wedding. That will be a day I will never forget! And then Christmas at your house to watch Mia open her presents with both families, but since that day it really has felt like one awesome blended family. You and Leo are amazing parents. And our blended family is a testament to how much you love Mia. I am so proud to be apart of this family and I love you guys so much!
