As everyone knows, Johnny and I are 15 years apart. Yes.. 15. Age is just a number and we go together perfectly if you ask anyone that knows us! So here is the story.. In 3rd grade, my family's home caught fire, we lost everything. My family knew Johnny's family from football at SYFA. Johnny and his step dad actually worked on my parents house after the fire.. So I joke around and say since he saw me, he's been chasing me ever since ;-).. Fast forward many years, I moved home from college and started bartending to pay for college. Just so happens it is the bar where Johnny played in a pool league. He would flirt and we would make small talk every time he came into the bar.. This went on for months, still though he didn't know I was "Dwayne Lewis'" daughter and I didn't know who he was, really. Then one day my dad came into the bar when I was working and Johnnys friend Joey put it together and literally joked with my Dad and said "he's going to be your future son-in-law. We all laughed. Then Johnny asked me on our first date under one condition. That I ask my Dads permission. I did, my dad said no. I didn't listen. I was 21 years old, I made the decision to go on the date (my mom knew, but today she says she doesn't recall knowing)We continued to date for that whole year without my family knowing. My parents found out accidentally when they were in Biloxi, they were in the casino elevator and it just so happens Johnnys good friend and his wife were also in that elevator...who's wedding Johnny and I had just attended!!! ... Well they made small talk on that elevator and it came out that "I was Johnnys girl".. Well that didn't go over well. Fast forward a bit they all met Johnny and saw us together and saw how he treated me and fell in love with him just like me.
