Bride

I was convinced for about a year that every month was "the month" that he was going to propose. I was just holding my breath at every mention of some dinner plan or event to go to. However, I was not at all expecting Christmas Eve!

We had decided to not really do gifts for each other that year. However, I had made Drew something little. All day he kept mentioning little things about a present he got me. He even sent me a few pictures of a big Christmas box.

That night we were sitting on the couch as I read the card:

"Once upon a time there was a teacher and a fireman, and they lived two seperate lives. Fate knew that these two were pefect for each other and just had to bring them together. One fateful day on July 11th, 2010 fate aligned these two lives on the dance floor. As brick house played, a new love was born. Over time, the two hearts grew into one. They had a happy house full of three little animals where they grew together in love and dreaming of a future. It was the best thing to happen to the fireman possible and thus he needed a way to show he loved her more than anything for Christmas. A simple gift is sometimes all it takes to show someone how much they mean to you. Merry Christmas! I love you! We love you! Love, Molly, Max, Mocha, and Me."

As my hands shook, I opened the big present. There was another box to open. And another. And another. Until I was at a small ring box. At this point I was frozen. I literally couldn't talk or move. Drew took the ring box, got on one knee, said some really sweet things, and asked me to marry him.

I said yes! <3
