Tanya, the woman I'm going to marry, is my confidant who I can tell anything, my best friend who always has my back, and my coach who is unafraid to administer a kick where it will be most effective when and if needed.
She's a musician (we're both keyboardists), whose sense of rhythm moves in time with my own.
She's a dancer, who can turn physical movement into poetry.
She's a fellow Prince fan(atic), who surprised me with tickets to see his 'Piano and a Microphone' tour, and then shared my grief when he left this Earth.
She introduced me to Tom Waits, the Phantom of the Paradise (an early Brian de Palma cult classic), and never stops trying to get me into The Walking Dead. (In return, I introduced her to Dr Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, motorcycles, and 11th chords).
Tanya is a unique and beautiful flower, unafraid to be who she is and unwilling to go along with the crowd just for the sake of conformity.
I love you, Tanya, and can't wait to be your husband.
