The couple met back when Damon was 19 and Sarah was 17. Beginning as friends, the two met each other while working at Happy Joe's Pizza in Muscatine. Months later, beginning their relationship in July of 2008.

Damon can remember the first time he saw Sarah: standing at the counter of Happy Joe's, looking out at the dining area... All the while oblivious to his observations. While making pizzas, Damon would occassionally throw pepperonis at Sarah's back while she handled customers. She thought him a little odd, but the similarities in their interests and in each other soon became realized. It was not until much later that Sarah began thinking of Damon as more than a friend and the feeling has never ceased since.

After beginning our relationship in 2008, we have sight-seen a lot of the country together and hope to continue our adventures for many years. We believe strongly in communicating to each other and are first and foremost each other's best friends. The love we have for each other continues to grow more and more each day. And we could not be happier to share our big day with all of you!
