Dating websites have a bad reputation and even I was skeptical of them.  But Match.com was the genesis of our relationship.

Sarah: It all started when a picture of this fun loving guy caught my attention.  As I read his profile he sounded like a chivalrous knight in shining armor.  Since I am a princess I knew then that I had to meet this man.

Jamie: When I saw Sarah’s picture for the first time she had a smile that glowed.  But what really caught my eye was the picture of her wearing her big, green, Irish top hat. I just visualized a woman who could make me laugh every day.

We decided to meet up one morning, December 18th, 2010, for breakfast at Panera Bread.  We had a cinnamon bagel with hot chocolate.  We literally talked for hours!  Five hours later we tried to say goodbye in the parking lot and ended up freezing for a while because we talked for another half hour.

Sarah: That day I was heading to my parent’s house for a week for the Christmas holiday.  I was so excited to tell my family about this sweet, fun, amazing guy I had just had breakfast with.  Over the course of the week we stayed in touch and exchanged silly stories like when the cat jumped out of a present box in the middle of the night to scare me as I walked up the stairs.

Jamie: I went home and I asked God “Is this my wife?”  On my match profile my headline was “Send me an angel” and I just knew that God had after I had met Sarah.

Sarah: New Year’s Eve Jamie had the pleasure of meeting a lot of my friends all at once.  He definitely did this is stride and they all loved him from the moment they met him.

Jamie: New Year’s wasn’t just a celebration to ring in the New Year, but it was a celebration of a new chapter in my life and I couldn’t wait until midnight.

Sarah: The very next day Jamie and I met up so he could go with me to meet my parents and grandparents.  He fit right in with my family from day one and that’s when I knew he was a keeper.

Since then we have enjoyed many Razorback games, going to see his beloved Angels, my first NFL football game and first NHL game, along with many other days filled with fun and laughter.

We are excited about our wedding and our future together. We know that God brought us together and we thank Him every day for his blessings.
