Harvey is off the next 5 days so we'll get a lot accomplished on his off days. Basically, it's tying up loose ends and buying much-needed stuff.

I met with my new wedding plan crew. We got together at 8 in the evening just to discuss my wedding details and what needed to be done as I draw near to the big day. We started laughing and talking about stuff like women do (along with having some shots just to be sociable) and next thing I know I'm getting home at 4ish in the morning after we went out for breakfast. Wow! Another GREAT night out. Thanks, Ladies!

It's Samantha's time to show me a good time. Although there weren't a lot of us, we still had a good time. We went clubbing and ended the night with a slumber party at a nice downtown hotel compliments of my good friend Chelse who helped us get the hookup. Thanks, Ladies!

I went in for my fitting today without Tammi. She was so tired from all the time she put in for my shower and with having to work. So I told her I could handle this by myself. The gown was even more beautiful to me than I had imagined. I can't wait for the final fitting.

What a FANTABULOUS time I had at my bridal shower!!!! Everyone raved about the food and how beautiful my house looked as it was many of their first time seeing my house. My chef friends and other close friends came together and helped me with a feast for the masses which I TRULY appreciate. I didn't get a definitive head count as I was too busy socializing, but I believe I  had 40 women to attend when I had planned on 50. Still, God had who HE wanted to attend my shower to be there, and I had a blast.

Tammi did NOT disappoint me. She went above and beyond the call of duty with extra decorations, favors, and last-minute errands. She picked out my dress, my bride-to-be sash, and my hair doo. I just let her have her way with me. Lol It was fun, and it was GREAT.

Samantha had to work, but that's the beauty of having co-MOHs. Lol She stopped by on her way home from work to attempt to put together a plate from the little leftovers we had. It wasn't easy, but she got a little something. Lol

Thanks my beautiful MOHs. You're GRRRREAT!

Tammi and I did a LOT of running around to put the final touches on my house for the bridal shower. She did the setup of the tables, chairs, and decorations and I did some more detailed "company's coming" cleaning. My house looked completely different after we worked our magic.

Samantha showed up with the sandwiches she made for the bridal shower.  So once again we were all together for a bit as Samantha was on her way to a birthday party. Thanks for the assorted sandwiches, Chef Samantha.

Tammi is a true friend and trooper for showing up AFTER work and even staying out later when she could've been at home sleeping. Thanks, Tammi!

Now time for me to TRY to go to sleep so I can rise EARLY to get my doo done for the shower tomorrow.

David's Bridal called and said my gown is here WEEKS early. Oh, how exciting! Now I just need to go for my fitting and buy my shoes that'll go with the gown.

Today was the first time BOTH of my MOHs and I were able to get together. I've mainly been with Tammi. They both headed to my place where we had a facial, and I got my makeup done for my wedding colors. I want to look natural and not scary to myself and especially not to Harvey on our wedding day. He's used to seeing my face as is with only lip color to enhance my looks. However, for the wedding, I wanted my looks further enhanced. Tammi and Samantha approved of the makeup artist's look she gave me. So it's a go.

Got my head count for my bridal shower although I know some will call closer to the date to either confirm or cancel. Right now I'm up to 40 women attending. Yaaaay!

My BFF/MOH, Tammi, and I had lunch today and went from store to store looking for the elusive dress for me. We still didn't find it although we saw many dresses in the color scheme that I'd like for my wedding, but we didn't see THE dress. The dress must "speak to me", if you will. On another note, at least we got bouquets for Tammi and Samantha, my other MOH.

Today I awoke feeling very excited and a little nervous as it hit me that we're weeks away from our big day. Also, today was our final premarital counseling session with my pastor. We had an incredible journey learning more about the other and how to better communicate, etc so not to have much "intense fellowship" as my pastor calls arguments. We highly recommend premarital counseling to all of those planning to marry.
