Over the years many people have asked how Trey and I started dating. It is sort of an odd story but I am thankful everyday that we were able to find each other. Trey and I met during my senior year of High School, which also happened to be his first.  I met him through different friends that he also seemed to be around, talking to each other a little bit here and there. During the powder puff football game I was helping the male cheerleaders with their cheers and didn't have a place to put my keys or cell phone. I tried to find a place to put them and some how decided that Trey should be the one to hold them. Once the game was over, I went to retrieve my car keys (I had my cell phone back already), but I couldn't find Trey anywhere. Finally I found him and he told me that I just should have sent him a text and he would have brought my keys back. Upon which I replied, "I don't have you phone number." He replied with, "well, would you like it?" He will now tell you today that, that was his master plan all along. From that point on we talked quite a bit. Finally deciding that one day we should actually hang out with one another. From that point on pretty much leads you to where we are today. Almost 6 years later! I knew it was love from the very start and unlike anything else. 

After many, many venue changes Trey and I have decided to have the wedding ceremony at the Mount Vernon Community Hall. Grant County certainly does not offer a lot, when trying to plan the wedding of your dreams but ultimately what is most important to both of us is for our family and friends to be there with us. We want to share this special with everyone who has stood beside us and supported us over the years. It will be a wonderful day and we couldn't be more excited. 

Our reception will be fun & fabulous! Please join us and celebrate our new lives as Mr. and Mrs. Thompson! There will be dining, dancing, celebrating and good times for all! Our wedding reception will  follow our ceremony. All of the information is being worked out and you should be receiving our little homemade invitations soon. 

Trey and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives.
