Aaron and I met at Long Shots in Arvada, CO in March of 2014. We spent the evening with a mutual friend, listening to music and playing our favorite game, 8 ball! It was not until months later that Aaron messaged me. I was with a friend at Fitness on the Rocks. He told me he couldn't help himself, he just had to talk to me. He thought I was looking good that day. Little did he know, that was my first step in getting back into a healthy lifestyle! I think he became my motivation after that day! We spent the next week texting back and forth, constantly. We could not get enough of each other. At first, I was a bit scared. I thought I'd like him too much. I wasn't sure how to even handle it! Was this real? Was this my dream come true? He asked me on a date, which I accepted.

On July 24, 2014, Aaron took me to The Macaroni Grill. It was an amazing meal. Even the part where he squirted a lemon in my eye. It was an accident, of course! After dinner, we played some games at Dave and Busters. Walking hand and hand just felt right. It was perfect.

We sat on a bench outside of the Westminster Promenade for a while, and listened to a guitar player, as there was a bit of time left before the movie would start. We ended up seeing "Lucy" and although I thought the movie was great, he is who had all of my attention. At the end of the evening, I experienced my last "first kiss" by my prince charming. He was the missing piece to my puzzle.

We could not get enough of each other from that point on. It was only a few months later, that we moved into a townhouse together with Tristan and Marley. We made it our home. Since then, we have adopted another dog, we have been to the X-Games and have gone snowboarding in Aspen; we have kissed in the middle of the Redwood Forest in California; we have Hugged each other as we watched the waves cover the rocks on the Northern California Coast; we have spent holidays together with our families; we have experienced Vegas together; we have laughed together; we have cried together; and most of all, we have experienced what we both have been waiting for our whole lives. True Love.
