Today, Keith and I continued reading our book of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.. “Proverbs”. As we shared our takeaways, we noticed that God wants us to hear from him and take advantage of the wisdom he’s giving us. If we refuse to take the wisdom then we are walking down the wrong path. With wisdom comes knowledge, and if we lack both then we are leading ourselves in unrighteousness... 

Then we started a plan on the Holy Bible App. We are starting to read “7 Secrets to an Awesome Marriage”. It was A GREAT READ! The verses we read were Genesis 2:22 and Romans 12:2... below you will find our takeaways: 

Keith: As a man if you are blessed with a wife it is because God has taken her from a piece of you.. so therefore you automatically become incomplete without her..also do not let today’s society tell you what is acceptable, but allow God to transform your mind and way of thinking for you and your wife.. in order to accept the will of God you must let God work

China: Although people are not willing to marry or don’t believe in marriage, God ordained marriage! God believes that we should have a help meet! God also said that marriage is good. With that, don’t be conformed to the evil of this world because you’ll be out of God’s will.

Many people believe in God, but struggle with gaining a relationship with him! Often times , we read the Bible and have difficulties interpreting the words. With that being said, it is vital that we keep a dictionary aside! Other people would rather sit and debate about the word of God instead of being a researcher of the word and a true listening ear! 

Well, Keith and I have started this journey to read the Bible together. We made a decision to keep God first in our marriage ,and the first step to doing so is to gain an authentic connection with our Father. We are beginning to read in the book of Proverbs! Proverbs is a book of KNOWLEDGE & WISDOM. We began today by reading the first chapter .. it was a great read and our interpretation was relatable and it allowed us to put it in perspective to listen to God’s wisdom. We gained a good bit of understanding from just one chapter! You would be surprised how interesting the Bible could be If you will form a book club with your husband , fiancГ©, boyfriend ,etc! 

Continue to keep us in prayer as we are on the fast. We will continue to pray and read the Bible together !
