| I never realized what a chore finding a dress would be!! Wow. Thanks to all my girls for helping support me through what seemed to be like a marathon of tulle and tafetta. After a few long hours and a day later I found my dream dress. It is beautiful and I can't wait for everyone to see it!! Off to get the dress fitted especially for me. :)  We got out marriage license yesterday. Yay! We are on our way to becoming Mr. & Mrs. Castillo. Woohoo! I had dressed up so cute, I had bought a new dress, I had lip gloss on... but I was so nervous filling out the paper work and writing down that I would be changing my name. When we got to the office I realized I had totally forgot my i.d. I took a few deep breathes and was ok. The gal at the counter said we could come right back and still get the license. But about five minutes into the car ride back I lost it, I was a sobbing mess! I pulled myself together and grabbed my i.d. and headed back. We were in and out in just over half an hour. Dress shopping tomorrow!!!
 Today I make a boutonniere. I am hoping to make all of them for the groomsmen. :) Isn't it cute?!?
 Today I went flower shopping!!! Boy I didn't realize when I left this morning to research flowers that I would need a parka! They keep those flower distributors cold. It was fun seeing all of the different colors, shapes and textures of each bloom. I'm excited to get a consultation and pick out a bouquet for our big day! I especially loved the dahlias and antique looking hydrangea as well as anything green. Here are some is a pic collage of all the stuff I loved! And..yes,.I broke down and purchased a wedding magazine. First one and we have been engaged almost a year. Watch out here comes Bridezilla!!! :) So I finally got all the addresses together for the invitations, and hoping they will be sent off by Monday. I am excited for everyone to see them. They are so cheeky, fun and cute. I hope everyone enjoys them as much I did. I know it's short notice but I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. |
