It all began with Match.com! It was June 23rd, 2009, when Dave first emailed me on M.com.  He told me he liked my profile and that he thought we might have a few things in common. I was instantly excited, as here was this handsome , smart guy with two darling little girls emailing me. However when I went to read his profile, he listed his top interest as "camping," and for this girl who didn't really camp, this was a little concerning for me at the time!  Clearly I still went on the date, and 3 years later, we still joke about this, and I have grown to enjoy camping 1 or 2 times a year. :)  (I  hope to have our original Match.com profiles posted at our wedding reception.)  After our initial email contact, we exchanged numbers and Dave called me a few days later, and after a couple of weeks of emails and calls, we had our first date on July 19th, 2009 at Wine Steals in Cardiff. There was an instant chemistry and connection between us from that first moment.  Dave's Mom (Micki) was in town,, and she took care of the girls so that Dave could meet me for our first date, before they all headed to Wisconsin for a summer vacation the next day.  We both thought our date/meeting would last 30-40 minutes, as with any normal initial match.com date, you just never know how it will go or what to expect.  I'm happy to report that our date lasted over 2 hours, and I called him on our way home from our date to jokingly tell him, "Dave, thanks, I had such a great time, and by the way, you are sooo my new boyfriend." I figured if he could handle that, then he could handle me. :)From that date forward, we spoke everyday and have never spent more than 5 days apart in the 3 years that we have known eachother.  We've spent the last 3 years loving one another, sharing our life dreams, sharing our families and friends, and building a great future together. We fell in love and throughout the years our love for eachother has continued to grow stronger everyday. We are best friends and we have been through so much together. We couldn't even begin to imagine what life would be like without one another, and we don't ever plan to find out.  I always wanted to meet a great man, fall in love, have a family and build a happy future.......I got everything that I dreamed of!
