Welcome

It remains to this day such a wonderful story... a chance meeting that I still remember and will always be my memory of when we first met.

Jason and I met in Nashville while I was there for a fun run with my girlfriend. Cheryl and I decided to make a trip north for a girls weekend in Music City. We were dressed up like nerds of all things, for our run. We had a blast running TapNRun, but the after party was the best. That chance meeting!! Among hundreds of people to be standing beside, I happened to find myself standing beside my future husband. Cheryl decided to take destiny into her own hands and "bump" into Jason, which lead to conversations that lead to dinner, that to talking on the courtyard of the Capitol bldg till 4am in the morning and breakfast. Jason asked me out on our first official date that morning before I had to leave him to head back home 3 hours away. That's all it took and we had many more dates, long distance love, a big move for me so we could be together. Finally on May 2014, Jason took me back to that same spot where we had talked for hours on our first meeting, the Capitol,  to get down on one knee and ask me to marry him. We laughed, cried,  I said yes and couldn't have been happier.

We are so excited to spend our lives together. Thank you Cheryl Hopper for being my friend without a shy bone in her body. Because of you I  found my best friend, my love, my heart!

Our love of travel makes a destination wedding no surprise to anyone, I'm sure. We talked a lot about what we really wanted and needed for our ceremony to truly be us and special.

So we are having an intimate outdoor ceremony in New Orleans at the Degas House on July 26th, 2015. Our kids will be our very special attendants, Vance, Jason's Best Man and Vacey will be walking me down the aisle and my Maid of Honor. Our wonderful friend, Rachel, will be our witness and a special addition to our wedding.

We have a fun week planned before the wedding ceremony, but it is only a matter of time until I take those first steps down the rose petal covered aisle in my wedding dress to become Mrs.Jason Williams!

Our reception will be fun & fabulous for the five of us! We are in New Orleans for goodness sake!!  After our ceremony we will be having some fun with a small Mardi Gras celebration in the streets of New Orleans, then a fabulous dinner with lots of local flavors incorporated. Last, I finally get to have my first dance with my husband and sparklers to send us off as husband and wife.

We are planning a reception with all of our family in friends after we get home. All of the information is being worked out and you will be receiving invitations soon.

Jason and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives. We cherish the friendship and love you gave us,  continue to give to us and are blessed to have you all in our lives. Thank you for visiting our wedding website and honeymoon registry.

Jason and I are so excited for our honeymoon and can't wait to have some time for just us as husband and wife!!  We are getting the best of both worlds actually! The kids were all about going on our honeymoon with us, so we sort of made that happen.

Before our wedding we are setting off on an adventure with the kiddos, they love seeing new places enjoying the sights and sounds of new countries and especially trying all the new foods!! So we're jumping on a cruise to explore more of Mexico, this time the Yucatan and Cozumel.  Jason and I planned some really amazing experiences for them including ruins, Cenotes, spinnaker rides and a catamaran all to ourselves for the day to enjoy snorkeling, beach time and sailing.

Our wedding will follow in New Orleans, where we have extended our stay to get married, enjoy the liveliness of one of my favorite and most romantic of cities and some beignets at Cafe du Monde with Vance and Vacey, of course.

Once we are back home,, we'll set off on our next adventure as husband and wife to Grenada!  This one was a toss up between Ireland or the Spice Island but we already set our sights on Ireland for our one year anniversary!! I read a book years ago about this wonderful place that smelled of spices as set foot on the island. I've dreamed of sailing there for years, I can check one more thing off my bucket list. Pura Vida!
