Our wedding party consists of our family and close friends. We wanted to take the time to thank them for all their love and support. Please meet the wonderful individuals we will be surrounded by on our big day.

Ezmeralda Garcia

Ezmie is the youngest of five.  She is my little sister.  I have always felt overprotective of her, but encouraged her to make her own decisions.  She is a strong & beautiful woman.  She will graduate this summer with her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UCR.  I have no doubt she will be successful in whatever she chooses as a career.  She is embarking in an internship for her Spring quarter in Washington D.C.  Since she was a kid she has always tried new adventures: learning the flute, piano, soccer, track, dirt bike riding, and snow boarding.  There is nothing in this world that scares this woman.  I am proud to call her my sister, my maid of honor!

Diane Garcia Becker

Diane is my oldest sister.  We are five years apart.  I always looked up to her growing up.  She protected me and motivated me to succeed in life.  She was always encouraging.  I moved almost every year for 7 years during college and law school.  And I never had to ask to live with her over the summer to save money on rent.  If she could help, she did.  We had our sister moments throughout the years, but we still share the sisterly bond that no one can break.  I participated in my first tough mudder with her aside wounded warriors of our country.  Men with prosthetic legs and/or arms achieving the impossible for some.  She was a single mom of three until she remarried and had her fourth child.  All of her children are a part of this wedding party.  I am proud to have a big sister like Diane.

Ericka Adakai

"E" and I met in college at Cal State Fullerton in 2000.  We met through a summer college job.  I admired Ericka getting through college and working as a single mom.  She is truly an amazing person.  Our Mexico trips in college will forever be unforgettable.  By the time I turned 21, I was done with the partying (thanks to the duo Ericka & Lee).  We spent close to 60 hours a week in our summer jobs.  The best part about it.  With Ericka and our friend Lee it never felt like work. E says it like it is.  She won't sugar coat things and man can this woman make you laugh.   Throughout the years we have managed to maintain a friendship that is truly valuable to me.  She really is a great mother and friend.  My big day would not be the same without her.  I love this girl!

Kencarol James

"K" and I also met in college at Cal State Fullerton in 2000.  We moved to Riverside and became college roomates.  K is the most sweetest and patient person I have ever known.  K has moved out of California several times.  And although we were countries apart at one point we still managed to maintain our special friendship.  K is also getting married this year and I will be one of her Bridesmaids.  Our weddings are only three weeks apart.  2013 is a year we will both cherish together forever.

Elizabet Rodriguez

Liz and I met at work.  Funny thing...she worked as a deputy district attorney and I as a deputy public defender.  Despite this crossover Liz and I became good friends.  I remember one day in court there was a pro per (defendant representing himself).  He was talking directly to the commissioner.  Liz came over to the defense side asking me to help him.  She told me she knew how busy I was with other cases, but she really thought this pro per could use my advice.  I knew at that moment what type of person/lawyer Liz was.  She doesn't take advantage of people and does what is fair and right.

When Liz left the DA's office and began working in private practice we actually became closer.  I have never met a person that holds her family so dear to heart as I do.  It's a connection we shared instantly.  After college I thought I had met the long lasting friendships I would establish in my life the way I did with K & E.  Liz proved me wrong.

Maryanne Hunt

Maryanne is my niece.  She loves makeup and anything girly.  She is excelling in math and reading in school.  Mary is a cheerleader and just started playing soccer.  Since Cisco and I took so long to have our wedding we didn't have an age "appropriate" flower girl.  Ms. Mary had to be a part of this wedding; hence the Jr. Bridesmaid title.

Midajah Meneses

Midajah is my soon-to-be niece.  She loves music, so she loves to sing and dance.  She hopes to one day meet Justin Bieber.  Midajah loves animals and is very artistic.  She started cheerleading this past year.  She is truly becoming a beautiful young lady both inside and out.  I am blessed to have her in my life and look forward to calling her my niece.

John Juarez

If you listen to John he is responsible for my college education and therefore my career as an attorney.  The funny thing about that is there is a lot of truth to that, although I would not go so far as saying I owe my career to him LOL.

We have been best friends and brothers since High School.  John took me to high school when I was a Senior without a car, despite the fact he had already graduated and no longer had to get up early; he brought me the college apllication that initated my continued education; he gave me a place to stay at a reduced rent (paying his share of his condo even after he moved out) when I was finishing school in San Diego and has been everything you could possibly expect from a "Best Man."  So, if the price of all that John has done for me is to have him go around claiming he has made me the man that I am, that's ok with me.

Louis Meneses

I don't think a younger brother can ever go through life not looking up to his big brother in some way.  He taught me to work on bikes, I got to wear his cloth when I became big enough to fit into them and he showed the whole family what it means to be brave and fight for your country.  Twelve years in the Marines doesn't come easy and it takes a special type of person.  My brother made us all proud and as time has gone by his continued evoloution never seizes to amaze me.  We are closer than ever and he has found new ways to inspire me.  Talk to Luis now and he'll tell you about his weekend spent feeding the homeless or the time he recently spent with children at an orphanage.  Thank Luis!

Luis Pinell

Luis is a fellow Nicaraguan who has been a great long time friend.  He's a police officer, husband and father who always does things right.  Luis is one of those people who you knew wouldn't fail in life.  He is hardworking, dedicated and always seems to be at peace.  His kids are smart, well behaved and a pleasure to be around and I think that says a lot about the man you are when you can instill these qualities in your kids.  As a friend I have seen all of this and I hope to emulate what he has and is accomplishing in life.

John Farfan

There are certain people in life that make everything better, whether they bring life to a party, fun to a dinner or laughter on a phone call.  John does all these things.  John brings people together because everyone wants to be around him and those who are lucky enough to be around him are truly blessed.  I'm one of those lucky people who can say John is my friend.

George Garcia Jr.

Whenever you meet the men in the family of a woman your dating there is always some tension because men are protective of the women in their family.  Junior is protective of his sisters, his entire family for that matter, but he was always kind and genuine.  Junior has a great heart and he is an inspiration to us all.  Meeting Valerie has resulted in me obtaining my soon to be wife and another brother.  When you meet Junior you will understand why that's a real gift because his warm personality draws you in and you can't help but smile.

Luis Meneses

Louie is by definition my nephew but in many ways I feel like a second-father.  Louie was the first nephew I had the opportunity to watch grow up and so I made sure to be there for as many of the big moments in his life.  Even though I wish he tried harder in school I am still proud of the man he is becoming.  Louie is smart, kind, funny and is genuinely a good person.  He has brought much joy to my life whether it be as the 4 year old who talked for an hour straight when I picked him up in Oceanside and brought him to Buena Park or the young boy who acted like Spiderman after watching the movie or as the teenager who can't stop joking around (like his uncle).  I couldn't plan such a special event without including him.

Ryan Hunt

Whenever I go to a "Garcia" event whether it be a Bar-B-Que or a party and Ryan is there he always comes to me and gives me a big hug.  Nothing says your part of the family better than a hug from Ryan.  I have watched him grow and it's nice that he hasn't lost that "kid" enthusiasm that brings warmth to your heart.  Thanks for letting me be your Tio Ryan.

Jacob Hunt

Anyone who knows me, knows I love sports, almost every sport and this love of sports is something that bonds Jacob and I.  Jacob impresses me all the time with his knowledge of sports from baseball to basketball and football.  If there was a big trade in the NBA Jacob probably already knows about it.  Jacob is also the dancer in the family and has more guts than most people you will ever meet.  For the right price Jacob will do just about anything.  He's a cool kid and it'll be nice to be able to call him my nephew.

Jason Becker Jr.

Jason, aka booboos is a one of a kind kid.  He is Val's nephew and our Godson.  He's smart & very polite.  This kid loves his family.  Booboos likes to share and always brings a smile to your face.  In fact, he will still hold your hand in public.
