On May 20th, 2009, their stars collided. She was out celebrating her 26th birthday with a friend. He was out with some friends from out of town. Somehow they all ended up at a small place called BarDog Tavern in Downtown Memphis. In what turned out to be the best decision he ever made, he asked the two lovely ladies if they'd like to join his party as it was closing in around them. He pulled her table near.  In the crowded bar, the two sat close, bumping elbows more than once. Small talk was made. She stole a glance... he intrigued her.  "Are you seeing anyone?  Can I have your phone number?" she questioned. He was astonished, yet happy to exchange numbers. It wasn't until nine days later they made plans to see each other again. She came to his house for late dinner.
