Honeymoon Wishes
Terra Lyn Stubblefield & Dean Farris Farmer III
Location: Cranberry House in Lyons, Oregon
You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.

You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.

Aye, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God.

But let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.

Love one another but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup.

Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.

Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone.

Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.

Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.

And stand together, yet not too near together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.

~A poem by Lebanese poet Kahlil Gibran
We will be exchanging our wedding vows on September 20th, 2008 at Two O’clock in the afternoon at

The Cranberry House
32325 North Fork Road
Lyons , OR 97358

Our wedding will be held outdoors in Oregon so please be prepared for any type of weather. If you're unsure of what to wear our wedding colors are any and all fall colors. We expect our family and friends to feel as comfortable as possible so please wear whatever you makes you comfortable.
Immediately following the ceremony the wedding party will be taking photos. During this time guests are welcome to refreshments while they await the bride and grooms' entrance into the celebration of their new life together.

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same site.
The area that we have chosen to be married is one of Terra's fondest childhood vacation spots. The land surrounding the site is largely State Park land with many camp sites (some have cabins). There are quite a few B&B's in the area (and I'm sure some vacation homes too!) as well as 2 hotels within approx. 20 miles from the site.

For our out-of-state guests the nearest airport is the Salem Municipal Airport - McNary Field. It is our understanding that Delta is the only large airline that services this airport. This aiport is approx 30 minutes from the wedding site. If anyone is flying into Salem and needs transportation please let us know and we should have no problem fully accomadating you.

Other than Salem, Portland Int'l (PDX) is the nearest airport. Vehicles can be rented at the airport as the site is approx. 1.5 hours from PDX. For those that need assistance with vehicle transportation please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We recommend that our out-of-state guests make a mini-vacation out of their trip. The wedding site is on the Little North Fork River with many beautiful hiking trails. 36 miles NW of the site is Silver Falls State Park (http://www.silverfallspark.org) with 10 beautiful waterfalls. 21.5 miles SE of the site is Detroit Lake (http://www.detroitlakeoregon.org). Approx. 11 miles N of Detroit Lake is Breitenbush Hot Springs (http://www.breitenbush.com).

Recommended Hotels:

Rodeway Inn & Suites (21.1 mi. west)
300 Sw Sublimity Blvd
Sublimity, OR 97358
(503) 769-9579

Detroit Motel (21.6 mi. SE)
‎ 175 Detroit Ave, Detroit, OR
(503) 854-3344‎

NOTE: Accommodations have been arranged for Dean's immediate family (including the Hernandez family).
The last 10 miles of road to the wedding site is a stretch of narrow, windy roads that runs along the Little North Fork River. There is a section of road just under a mile long that is gravel.

We want our friends and family to enjoy themselves at our wedding but we also want to ensure everyone's safety. A limo service will be available after the reception to take guests to nearby hotels, B&B's and campsites. The following morning we will be able to take guests back to their vehicles at the wedding site.

We've recently been advised that camping will not be allowed on-site, however, there is a camp site less than two miles away. If you are planing on camping please let us know and we will do our best to reserve sites for you prior to your arrival.

Thank you!
Dean & Terra
