We are so excited to share this special day with all of you! We would like to take this time to share a few things about us and our relationship. We hope you enjoy our site and we can not wait to see you on our wedding day!


For those of you who do not know, we met each other at the age of 13 on the basketball courts of Clover Middle School. It was Anthony's first day at Clover and I was asked to give him his class schedule. To this day he still says that as soon as he met me, he knew I was the one for him! Well, needless to say, he captured my heart like no other and we started dating. We were together from eighth grade and through all four years of high school. I fell in love with Anthony so very long ago and now, 17 years later, we are getting married! It is a total dream come true for us and we couldn't be happier!


The proposal was absolutely unique! I'll let Anthony tell you about that!
Well, yes, I wanted my proposal to Erika to be something she would never forget, but not be too cheesy! So, I racked my brain on the different ways I could ask her to be my wife. Finally, I came up with it! I proposed to my love on May 5, 2007 on the same basketball courts we met on back in eighth grade. On that day, I took her to the store to buy a basketball and proceeded to drive to the school. I didn't tell her where we were going, and tried hard to dodge the "where are we going?" questions. Once we were there, I got the basketball, portable radio with speakers and my courage, and headed to the basketball courts. I told her that I wanted to play a game of H-O-R-S-E, just like we did when we were kids (she won back then by the way). Well, she ended up winning again this time! So as her prize, I gave her a 'never go flat' basketball and got down on one knee and asked if she would marry me while our song was playing in the background. She told me it was the most perfect day she'd ever had, since she beat me at H-O-R-S-E again, and she got engaged!


So there you have it, a little insight into our wonderful relationship! We hope you enjoyed reading it as much as we have enjoyed living it!


We do want to take this time to say that we are so grateful to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives and are humbled to be able to share this important event with all of you! See you in June!!

We can't tell you how excited we are to spend our honeymoon in Hawaii! Thank you for all of your wonderful and thoughtful gifts! We will be sure to enjoy each and every one of them throughout our stay in paradise!
