I can still remember the night we met so clearly. I had just qualified for the finals in the Stateline Karaoke contest with my Garth Brooks rendition of "The Old Stuff". After the contest, I was off to Tom Kats, my regular hang out and karaoke bar, to celebrate. I was sitting at the bar with my good friend Kevin and we both noticed these two beautiful women sitting at a table next to the dance floor. We had never seen them in here before and thought what the heck, it couldn’t hurt to go say hi and offer to buy them a drink. I started falling for Tescha that very night as we talked, laughed, and danced the night away and we've talking, laughing, and dancing ever since that November 11, 2006 night. One year later, on the night of November 11, 2007, I got down on one knee and asked this amazing woman if she would "bury" me. That's right, I actually said the word "bury" instead of marry. And her answer of course was, "Yes, I'll bury you". The date 8/8/08 was long ago chosen as 8 is Tescha's favorite number. If you turn 8 sideways, it's the infinity symbol which fittingly sums up our love for each other.

For our special day we chose the Illinois Beach Resort (ilresorts.com) nestled within the boundaries of the naturally beautiful IL State Beach Park in Zion, IL. We will be having our ceremony on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our guests will enjoy the abundant accommodations of the Resort Hotel with its great views of the lake, dining, full fitness center, pool, and the many nature trails throughout the state park. This will be a Hawian Style wedding complete with polynesian music and dancers. Our guests will enjoy authentic Hawian appetizers, open bar, and a beach side bonfire to celebrate the occasion.

Join us on Saturday, August 9th for our backyard reception at our Wisconsin home where we will have an authentic Hawian Pig Roast Luau. There will be more polynesian dancers and enticing fire dancers, music, dancing, karaoke, and a bonfire. Our guests staying at the Resort will be shuttled by bus along a carefully chosen route which will highlight the area we've chosen to settle in, eventually arriving at our home around 5:00 pm for a lei greeting and several hours of fun for all. We are very proud of the home we've made here and look forward to you coming!

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who visits our registry and for your generous contributions to what may be one of the most romantic and memorable trips of our lifetime. Thank you to everyone who makes it here to share in our special day and to all of those who can't make it. We understand and know we are in your thoughts.
