Our story is too amazing to tell with only 1276 characters remaining, so we are going to give you the "rundown" version. We met on Marie's birthday (December 30, 2007). We finally came together at the same time and in the same place after months of combined efforts between Andrea Schaffer and Anna Ramstad (Marie's cousins). Both Stew and Marie fought the "hook up" attempts for several months. Not realizing how valiant and sneaky the efforts were, we ended up together at Andy's Sports Bar and Grill in Red Wing on that night. We hate to sound cheesy, but THE REST IS HISTORY! Since that night, we have been at eachother's sides. Our love grew quickly and we both fell hard. On March 8, 2008 Stew proposed to Marie at the St. James Hotel in Red Wing, MN at a "black tie" event that Stew was hosting. Dressed in a tuxedo, he surprised her with a ring and a question. Of course, she answered yes! We have met and grown to be a part of eachother's families. Stew has grown extremely close to Marie's family, and Marie has been welcomed with open arms by the parents, relatives and friends of Stew's. We can't find the words to express how important each and every one of our friends and family members are to both of us, and what you mean in our new world together. Without the love and support that we receive from you, this partnership wouldn't be possible. We look very much forward to seeing you all at our very special day in June of 2009 when we officially become Stew and Marie Peters. Our wedding will be held on June 13, 2009 at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, MN. The ceremony will begin at 5pm Central Time.
