Stasia and Peter met while at work in September of 2005. Stasia is a nurse in the Emergency Department of their local hospital and Peter is a paramedic for the area they live in. Peter and Stasia fell for each other and soon began dating. As things became serious they purchased a home in Brooklyn, CT where they currently live with their two dogs and two cats, Mick, Marley, Stewie and Lois. As many may know Peter proposed to Stasia in March of 2008 at Peter's "surprise" 30th birthday party in front of many of their friends and family. It was very romantic and quite a twist on the surprise for Stasia. They happily began planning their wedding for Saturday, June 20th of 2009.

Peter and Stasia's wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Tyrone Farm in Pomfret Center, CT, the town where Stasia grew up. The farm is a beautiful location with many gardens and scenery to take in while you are there. They have several events throughout the year for the whole family to enjoy. If you are planning on attending the wedding (which they hope you are!) you can book a room at the beautiful Inn at Woodstock Hill in Woodstock, CT where they have blocked rooms for their guests to recieve a discounted price when they book and mention they will be staying there under the party of Peter Cardillo and Stasia Cyr. If you choose not to stay at the Inn, you can book at one of the many beautiful bed and breakfasts in Pomfret or Woodstock, CT. For slightly more economic accomodations, you can book a room at the local Holiday Inn Express in Dayville, CT. To book a room at Holiday Inn Express call 1-860-779-3200. A shuttle service will be provided to guests that are staying at the Inn at Woodstock Hill and at the Holiday Inn Express. The shuttle will depart Holiday Inn Express at 4:15pm on 6/20/09 and depart The Inn at Woodstock Hill at 4:30pm on 6/20/09 and bring them to the farm for the wedding ceremony which begins at 5pm. The shuttle will then provide transportation back to the Inn at Woodstock Hill and the Holiday Inn Express from the farm after the reception. The bus will depart the farm to go back to the hotels at 10:45pm.
