Jason and Denise met a little over 2 years ago on December 29, 2006. With the urging of a dear friend, Denise joined an online dating service with little hope that it would lead to anything real. Jason, being new to the San Diego area, also joined the same service. The night that they met face to face at a local Starbucks was their first and last date through the service. They were done searching because they had finally found each other. Having experienced some extended time apart because of Jason’s Naval deployments, they have learned how to truly support each other, and they quickly fell in love. Jason proposed to Denise in Tucson, Arizona, his hometown, on November 29, 2008. Under the glow of the star-lit night sky on a romantic walk at a resort, Jason asked Denise to marry him, and of course, she said yes. They are both so very excited to continue on their journey in life together.

Jason and Denise are getting married on Coronado Island in San Diego on Friday, July 17th, 2009. The wedding ceremony will take place at 5:00pm on Breaker’s Beach at the North Island Naval Base, Coronado. The ceremony will be an intimate occasion with their dear family and friends.

The reception will immediately follow the wedding ceremony from 6:00-11:00pm. The reception is at the Island Club on the North Island Naval Base, Coronado. The Skyview room of the Island Club, where their reception is being held, has a wonderful view of the Coronado beaches. This location is conveniently located right next to Breaker’s Beach, where the wedding ceremony is being held. Jason and Denise are looking forward to celebrating their special day with dancing and fun with their guests.

San Diego in July is a great place to have a wedding. There are so many beaches and hotels to choose from. Jason and Denise hope that their guests can take the time to enjoy a weekend in San Diego. They recommend spending time at Balboa Park and taking a bike ride on the board walk at Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. There are so many great restaurants to enjoy as well. Their wedding can be the start to a mini vacation for their guests!

We credit much of our happiness and success in life to our wonderful families and dear friends. Family is so important to both of us. Having the Daglio Family and the Engebretsen Family brought together through our relationship makes us feel so complete. The example set by the loving marriages of our parents give us a lot to look forward to. We truly have a group of amazingly loving and supportive people surrounding us. We have never been happier, and we know that our special day and honeymoon would not be possible without the support of our families and friends. We have decided to register for our honeymoon because we already have a home together with most of what we need. We thought this would be a great way for the people that are special to us to be a part of our honeymoon. Thank you so much for any donations to our honeymoon that you are able to make. We cannot wait to share our wedding day with you all!
