Our Story

Daniel grew up in Frederick, Maryland & I grew up in Miami, Florida more than 1,000 miles apart. In August of 2005, I left Miami to attend the University of Central Florida & in January 2006, Daniel decided to move down to Orlando, Florida. In February of 2006, I answered a newspaper ad for a company that was looking for college students to employ. Dan interviewed me for the position and in February 2006, I became his best employee! It took a couple of months for us to even become friends outside of work, but by April 2006, I was desperately trying to find an apartment that allowed dogs and in a weird twist of fate in May of 2006, my dog Maddox, me, and oh yea! My boyfriend of 4 1/2 years moved in to the same house with our boss! By June 2006, Dan was not just my boss/friend/roommate, but someone whose opinion mattered more than anyone else's. By July 2006, my boyfriend and I broke up and he moved back to Miami and in August of 2006 I was not only Dan’s employee/friend/roommate, but I also became his girlfriend. In March 2007, we realized we were bestfriends & in July 2007 we packed up two dogs, a Uhaul, and all my clothes and moved up to Maryland. By August 2007, we both discovered "what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real" we knew each other so well that pushing each other’s buttons was very easy, but despite the disagreements about my lack of tidiness, his neurotic cleanliness, or how to arrange the furniture in the living room, on January 18, 2008 he proposed and I became his Fiancé. So, in the last three years we've been boss and employee, friends, roommates, boyfriend & girlfriend, bestfriends, each other’s Fiancé and this October 2009, we will become Husband and Wife.

Our Wedding

Our Wedding is on October 10, 2009

Location: St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church

The Mass will be what we Catholics call a Nuptial Mass and will last a little over an hour.
Daniel and I understand that this is a long ceremony so we completely understand the guests who would prefer forego the ceremony and meet us at the formal cocktail reception which will start immediately after the ceremony.

*For those guests with small children or who simply wish to be able to whisper & comment through out the ceremony (about what an amazing couple we make..lol). For you, St. Peter's is equipped with a large sound proof room.The guests sitting inside this room will have full visual and audio through out the ceremony. We know this is a long ceremony and we completely understand if you need to go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, or just go outside for some air (we will not be offended!). We only ask that everyone remember how even whispers can echo in the church and how extremely important this mass is to us (and by us I mean me), because I planned it to every last detail.

Directions to St. Peter's Church:
St. Peter the Apostle Church is located approximately 50 minutes west of Baltimore (exit 62 from I-70 take Rt.75 north), or 50 minutes north west of D.C. via I-270 (exit Rt. 26 Libertytown on north edge of Frederick).
The Church is located at 9201 Church St, just north of the intersection of Rt 75 (Green Valley Rd) and Rt 26 (Liberty Rd). Parking is available in the parking lot off North St or across Rt. 75 from the church. (Please note, there is NO PARKING on North St itself per Frederick County)

Our Reception

Formal Cocktail Reception
Starts immediately after the ceremony and will take place directly across the street from the church in the Sullivan Room. At Reception guests will have access to two open bars and heavy hors d' oderves will be served through out the evening.

Travel Arrangements

Guests that are flying in should fly into the Baltimore Washington Airport and can call Daniel or I for a ride from the airport. Below are a list of hotels that are located 10-15 minutes from the church.
