Travel Arrangements
There are several options available for guests.
The Blackthorne Inn: www.blackthorne-inn.com 10087 John Mosby Hwy, Upperville VA, 20184. This is where our wedding ceremony and reception are being held. It is ideal for guests who will be driving or will be renting a car. All the rooms available are reserved under our name for the wedding. There are 18 rooms available which range from double occupancy rooms starting at $160, to more private cabins and cottages with porches and wood fireplaces.
Courtyard by Marriot, Dulles Airport Chantilly: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/iadca-courtyard-dulles-airport-chantilly/ 3935 Centreview Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151. This location offers a free 24 hour shuttle service to and from Dulles Airport. There is also a Hertz rental car agency at this location which offers more reasonable rates than the premiums charged by agenies adjacent to the airport. If you are flying in, you can avoid renting a car by coming into Dulles Airport. The hotel will provide transportation from the airport, and we will provide a shuttle from this hotel to and from the wedding. Rooms are numerous and nightly rates start at $63. Guests arriving into DC by other airports or other means (by train or bus) can still avoid renting a car, if they are able to use public transportation to get to Dulles Airport, and then as mentioned the hotel will pick you up, and transportation will be provided to the wedding. The hotel is not far from Washington, D.C. but is not readily accessible by public transportation.
Wingate by Wyndham: http://www.wingatehotels.com/Wingate/control/Booking/property_info?propertyId=11962. 3940 Centerview Drive, Chantilly, VA. This is a similair choice to the Courtyard, and is located adjacent to that hotel. Wedding transportation will leave from these two hotels.
The Red Fox Inn: www.redfox.com 2 East Washington Street, P.O. Box 385, Middleburg VA, 20117. This is a very nice Bed and Breakfast, located 10 minutes from the wedding, and 20 minutes from Dulles Airport. There are three buildings that offer accomodations on their property and a restaurant.
