Honeymoon Wishes
Cassie Wojciechowski & Johnathan Sherwood
Location: San Francisco, CA
Cassie and Johnathan lived incredible lives separately; surrounded by the best friends and family any two people would be blessed to have. And then one day...they found each other. And now, years later, they are bringing everyone together to share in the joy of their Bond...Wedding Bond.

We "should " have met on several occasions. Having had a mutual friend, we barely missed crossing paths more than once. Just 10 days before Cassie was to move out of San Francisco, while celebrating the end of an era in the city, she met a very “beardy” Johnathan. Two short days and one long shave later, Johnathan asked me if I would be his girlfriend…one week later, I said yes.

With Johnathan's United Airlines flight privileges, a little hard work, and a lot of creativity we embarked on a series of adventures that would rival any spy novel. Once, we set out to fly to Buenos Aires for the weekend, only to end up spending a week and a half in Toyko, Japan. Here, we connected with my relatives and somehow ended up in traditional garb (Johnathan thought they were putting him in a dress) dancing at a festival. There was another time when we were once stranded in Korea for 3 days. With no available flights home, Johnathan tried to check us into a whorehouse he thought was a hotel! And who can forget when we infiltrated Windsor Castle, and nearly escaped an international incident...I almost did not get cleared to leave England.

We have had several noteworthy experiences both before and after we met, but the best adventure of all was yet to come. Somewhere between the gates at SFO, and the road ahead of us, we fell in love. We share a spirit of adventure, spontaneity, and the right balance of fun and crazy that just works for us.

We moved to Portland Oregon in late 2008 where we bought our first place, and started making a life for ourselves. But like most gypsies and circus animals, we had a feeling that we should not get too comfortable. When greater fortune was promised out in the Chicago area, we decided to sell all of our least treasured belongings, and follow our destiny...with 10 days notice...again.

We were very much in love and looking forward to this next chapter in our lives. Little did I know that this move was about to be trumped by an even bigger proposal. The bags were packed, the place cleaned, and the truck was waiting. A very excited Johnathan surprised me on bended knee in our empty house. He asked if I would be his partner in crime forever as his wife. I said "Of Course" and we set off onto a road trip of epic proportions as we drove to our new home in Chicagoland.

The proposal was breathtaking, the engagement has been a whirlwind, and planning the “spy themed” wedding has been a blast. Johnathan and I are both looking forward to seeing everyone, and sharing our big day with all of our loved ones. See you soon!

We decided to get married in San Francisco, the city where we first met. Clift is one of my favorite places in SF, and seemed to be the perfect backdrop for an intimate and very "spy-like" affair reminiscent of a by gone era.
