How we got engaged
We docked in Cannes, France and set on foot to stroll the lovely seaside town. Not understanding the language, we struggled though ordering our lunch at a lovely yet casual French restaurant. We browsed the tourist and souvenir shops, due to it being a Sunday all of the high end stores were closed. We decided to walk along the beach front. While sitting on a bench and marveling that we were actually in Europe, Claude pulled out the ring that I had carefully chosen a few months prior and asked me to be life long partner. I happily accepted.
