
The wedding ceremony will be held at Lowndes Grove Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. We will begin at 6:30 p.m. so arrive a little early to be seated. To get to the plantation: From Downtown / James Isl. / West Ashley - Take Hwy 17N across the Ashley River into downtown. Take 1st Exit, Lockwood Blvd to the right. In approx. 100 yards, turn left onto Calhoun Street. Proceed to Ashley Ave (at traffic light) and turn left. Follow Ashley Ave until it ends at Hampton Park. Bear right on the One-way Road around the park. Travel ВЅ ways around the park to 10th Street. Take a right onto 10th St and proceed 3 blocks to St. Margaret Street. Turn left on to St. Margaret Street and proceed until it ends at the Ashley River. We're on your right. From I-26: read 'Travel Arrangements' below.

The reception will also be held at Lowndes Grove Plantation immediately following the wedding ceremony. Get ready to have fun with 'The Band of Oz'! Plenty of good food and drink for all will be readily available. Because the wedding will be held in early April, it could get a little cool at night, be sure to dress comfortably as we want everyone to have a great time. For those interested, we are registered at Belk, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, Lowe's and also on this website.

We have blocked many rooms at a two different hotels in the area, however, these too may be reserved so be sure to book your room in advance. Our room blocks are at the Holiday Inn in Mt. Pleasant and the Spring Hill Suites, just outside of downtown. Be sure to mention the Sayre or Green wedding block for these rooms. To get to the plantation from I-26: Take I-26 east to exit 219A-Rutledge/Citadel. Continue straight about 6/10th of a mile. Take a right onto St. Margaret Street and proceed until it ends at the Ashley River. The entrance to Lowndes Grove is on your right.
