We first met in 2006 but our hearts weren't quite ready to connect. Our paths crossed again the Summer of 2009 while actively serving the local community within our seperate Greek organizations. Joy took a chance and asked Anisah to breakfast and since that day their souls have become one.

In April 2010, Joy took Anisah to her hometown of San Antonio, TX to meet her family. On Thursday morning the 8th of April they went shopping, met up with an old highschool friend of Anisah's then returned home to the family.

Joy was very adament on finding a lake to talk and perhaps feed the ducks. Anisah loved the idea because she loves animals. They found a park with a lake and ducks to feed. They fed the ducks, conversed then decided to take a walk around the lake. As they walked hand in hand over a bridge, Joy stopped Anisah and asked to see her Cartouche Pendant that she had bought and sent to her for Valentines. Joy took the pendant off of Anisah's neck and told her that when someone special purchases a piece of jewelry for you, you should always let them do the honors of placing it on you for the first time. She kissed Anisahs neck and then re-fastned the neclace around her neck. As they walked to the car and begin parting from the lake Anisah found her pendant to have become very heavy and bulky.

Anisah subconciously touched her pendant and felt a ring attached to it. Her words were "Oh my gosh, this is not what I think this is"! Joy then got out of the car and knelt down on one knee in front of Anisah removing the ring from around her neck and asked her to marry her....and Anisah said "YES"!

This marked the beginning of the rest of our lives together!

Our wedding will take place on the beach in Ft. Walton Florida at the Azure condominiums and will begin early morning at 5:43a.m. as the sun begins to greet us with its warm glow.

Our wedding colors are chocolate brown, sage green and ivory. We encourage our guests to wear some variation of our wedding colors or earth colors, however, it's purely up to you!

We have a wonderful wedding party of 8. In addition to the two brides, Anisah and Joy...

Anisah has the honor and privilege of sharing this special moment with her Maid of Honor Meko, her bestest who was at the forefront of this union almost 2 years ago, Mary her best friend of 11 years whose been with her through thick and thin and Janelle her soror, confidant and life friend.

Joy has the honor and privilege of sharing this special moment with her Best Woman Deanna, her bestfriend who was also at the forefront of this union almost 2 years ago, P-Nut her bestfriend and confidant of 7 years and Rasheeda her fraternity sister, business partner and life friend.

Please join the Morgan-Bailey wedding party on the SunQuest Cruise "Solaris" at the Baytowne Marina at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Florida as it cruises the bay.

At 10:30a.m. they will set sail on a 2 hour Lazy Day Brunch Cruise. There will be great food, music, dancing and dolphin sightings. This will be a wonderful time for friends and family to relax, fellowship and celebrate with the new couple.

After brunch feel free to explore the beautiful city of Destin (or get a quick nap in) before the sun sets and the partying begins!

We encourage our guests to wear some variation of our wedding colors (Chocolate Brown, Sage Green and Ivory) or earth colors. However, if you want to wear your favorite colors it's purely up to you!

Since the wedding takes place in the early morning by the water and the reception will take place on a moving boat you may want to bring a light jacket, however it will start to warm up as the sun rises so we highly recommend you wear light breezy clothing (linen would be perfect!).

The Baytowne Marina is located at the beautiful Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort located at 9300 Emerald Coast Parkway West in Destin, Florida. Enter the north gate of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and follow the signs to the Baytowne Marina.

Take 98 East from Fort Walton Beach. Land mark - 6miles past Mid Bay Bridge Take a left at the light onto Sandestin Blvd. Enter Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort (Bayside). At the security gate, inform them you are going to the Baytowne Marina and receive a visitor’s pass. Take a Right onto Blue Heron immediately after guard gate. At the stop sign, take a Left onto Baytowne Avenue W to the Baytowne Marina and Tennis complex.

You will take the 2nd Left after the island of trees into the parking lot (sign: Baytowne Marina and Tennis complex).
