Early morning on August 8, 2016 me and the Wilburs planned to hike up Schoodic Mountain. The excitement to do this anual hike with his family was about the only thing that got me up and moving that early in the morning, and trucking up this tall mountain. It really is quite the incline. Little did I know the excitement that was waiting for me at the top, if i did I probably would have sprinted up the mountain! About 45 minutes later we made it to the top. The view is breath taking. You can see all the surrounding bodies of water, all the tress, and beauty that maine holds. Walking towards the edge of a rock to sit down Ryan stopped me and asked me to come back a little. Kind of confused me, but I didn't care it was nice to get a big hug from him after that tirring hike. Ryan starting telling me how he loves me so much, and said how we have only been dating for a year and a half but.. at this point i turn around and instantly in happy tears. He is on one knee reaching in his bag for his fanny pack, and pulled out a silver ring box. As I am hystarical he asked me if I will marry him, and of course I said YES! His family is smiling watching our moment as I cry tears of joy and hug my fiance. Picture perfect moment, and greatest moment of my life.
