"You're gonna love tomorrow!"

For a couple years, David's friends Adam and Erin had been trying to get him to participate in community theatre. After succesfully auditioning for a musical, Adam asked David to participate in a charity fundraiser show, where he would perform a duet with a girl named Holly. Meanwhile, Holly being asked to participate, saw nothing out of the ordinary as she was always involved in theatre work. The song was "You're gonna love tomorrow" from the musical "Follies" in which David had just landed the role. Little did they know, this musical number would be their theme for the rest of the relationship.

After a marathon 6 hour first date, which included frozen yogurt, beers, pub fare, and a 5km walk, they were destined for love. David still isn't sure which was more nerve wrecking... his audition for the musical, or his 'audition' on the first date to impress Holly. They hit it off, and have never looked back, since.
