This was the perfect plan! Tiffany was away on a well deserverd graduation trip to New York with her grandmother. While she was away I started planning the proposal. By this time Tiffany and i have been together for 7 years and she is now starting to think this is not going to happen. Little does she know I have had the ring she wanted for quite some time.

Tiffany has always told me that her idea of Heaven would look something along the lines of Pandora in the film Avatar. Lots of trees that glow neon colors and just flat out look amazing. I can't disagree with her because she is right.. it is an absolutly stunning vision. I wanted to suprise her when she returned from her trip. I wanted her to come home to her Heaven on Earth. I went and bought over 120 glow sticks and hung them all throughout the trees in our backyard. It was a lot of work. Thankfully my family all came over to help with the project. I also ordered neon spraypaint to spray the tees down. I had the ring placed in the center of the two trees on a glass table with 4 glowsticks to surround the black diamond ring. We has broken open several glowsticks and splattered the grass with it as well, so when we looked down it literally looked like we were standing on the stars. For an additional effect i unscrewd all the lightbulbs in the house to make it as dark as possible.

After a delayed flight I finally pick up Tiffany from LAX and we make it home. When she walked in Tiffany of course thought I had a huge party while she was gone."Why are the lights out? What is going on?" She then sees a glow from the back yard and says " What the hell is this?" I had a stereo setup with "Electric Feel" from MGMT set on repeat. I played the song, dropped to my knee and asked Tiffany if she would be my wife. She said "yes" ....5 minutes later.
